I must say that not having been on Montu i must say Kraken but saying that found it a little slow compared to the hulk & duelling dragons. My DS (10) said oh is that it!!

Montu is much more intense! You know you have been on a rollercoaster! Having said that I think Gwazi is the best I've ridden!

Never got round to SeaWorld on my last visit but was really wanting to give Kraken a whirl. I can say that Montu is seriously good!:) If your ever down in the Tampa area never miss Busch Gardens, Gwazi, Montu, Kumba - u wont be disappointed (just a little queasy!):D

Montu was amazing but Gwazi made my teeth rattle!! However, didn't care much for Busch gardens on the whole - just a personal thing. :unsure:

Were was Montu? Never even heard of it lol. I LOVE Kraken

I thought Montu was too much like Kraken.

Gwazi is a real nightmare of a ride. Although very juddery :bounce: and getting the feeling of fallings to bits, it was my favourite thrill ride of the whole holiday.

I haven't actually experienced them 'head-to-head' as it were (Kraken in 01, Montu in 02), but all I can say is that Kraken was the business while all the non-wooden coasters in Busch Gardens disappointed!

The wooden rollercoaster in BG (Gwazi I presume) was amazing. It was incredibly fast and gravity defying (how it stayed on the tracks is beyond me), but very painful -I had a stiff neck for two days afterwards. Good fun though!
