never been to US can you leave the park and go back later if you have a one day pass? has anyone got any tips dh and i are gonna go by ourselves and leave the kids with grandparents!!!

It's probably like any other park. If you get your hand stamped and retain your ticket you can probably get back in...

You can leave the park and get your hand stampded and return later........i have only been to the original Universal park si must do rides are T23D, Back to the Future, Jaws, Earthquake and at a push Twister

Tips?... well my plan is to:

1) Arrive early, arrive early, arrive early! Arriving up to an hour before official opening time (you might get let in early) means you can save yourself hours in queues.

2) Go to the back of the park first (most people start from the front) and do rides like Men in Black, Back to the future, etc and work your way around the park.

3) Eat lunch off-peak hours (not 12:00 - 14:00)

4) Enjoy yourself!

thanks guys , whats wrong with twister redkop? that is one i'm looking forward to. I spent 6 wks of the summer in the middle of nowheresville Oklahoma and we didn't get one tornado warning. It would have been me on the news with ds hanging out the van window filming with the video camera LOL!

Well it just wasnt what i expected it to be and it was false and as for the twister well lets just say as a scouser if you mix a tin of HP Baked Beans and a few pints of guiness you would get a better wind effect......sorry if i have grossed half the boards out.......just wasnt impressed at all......but hey thats why i am not on these travel show programmes

It depends on where you stand. We were at the very front and nearly got blown to bits! At the back it is a bit lame, as is the set and effects overall. The flying cow is in there somewhere, but after watching the film, then experiencing the attraction, it's not one of Universal's best.

yep it was -7 here last night......the cat decided it was too cold to go out or sleep downstairs so i spent most of the night fighting with angela and the cat for some bedcovers.......ahhhh just wait for the thaw and all the flooding that will happen.....its fun living here :D :D :D :D :D
