We are planning on visiting IOA and U.Studios in September. I really need some good suggestions for dining there. I would love to hear about any positive or negative dining experiences. I have tried the Comic street cafe and Motown Cafe and was pleased with both.:D

I can highly recommend the food/service in the Hard Rock Cafe which is just offsite of Universal Studios. Not too expensive and the food was absolutely delicious. For a quick snack - I just love the Chilli cheese fries in Mel's diner (Universal Studios) very informal place to eat in contrast to Hard Rock Cafe.

The best meal I had at Universal was at Hard Rock. It was so tasty!!! I had the Cajun chicken, mmmm!!! :) My boyfriend had the steak and all I can say was that it was huge. He couldn't hardly eat it. We went for a late dinner and it was really loud in there, but if that doesn't bother you then it is totally worth it!!!

Has to be Hard Rock. Most theme park dining will be over priced and clearly manufactured for getting the cattle in and out.

Hard Rock is different and suprisingly good value. We pre-purchased a night out there via Virgin and was left with money over and stuffed. Best to go it alone....

If you want to get pricey, and I'm not overstating that, you could make a reservation for Emeril's. The food is absolutely wonderful, and your spice loving husband will have no problem finding something he likes. In limited defense of the high prices, the portions are very large and the service is incredible. You can choose to dress quite formally or not, as you please. Children are very welcome there. It's in City Walk (as is Hard Rock Cafe) and quite easy to access.

I found this great link to Emerils.http://www.emerils.com/restaurants/orlando/

It tells you all about the restaurant and lists the menus.:D

There is also the new Tchoup Tchoup restaurant in the Royal Pacific, which sounds good too:thumbs:

Sounds like HRC is something we will need to check out along with the Nascar dining experience when we go.If everything goes okay(fingers crossed) we are hoping to stay a few nights at the Hard Rock Hotel before going to WDW.

IoA has got some nice restaurants too...

Confisco Bay (to the right of Port of Entry), huge burgers, fajitas... informal and quite quick service, plus luvly deserts! (if you're going with children then they may provide u with crayons and a brown-paper tablecloth; but I think they've stopped that now)

Mythos restaurant (opposite Poseidon's Fury in the Lost Continent;) is a little more formal, nice to go at the end of the day; especially if there is a firework show on too! they do a fantastic 'chocolate lovers' dessert :)

hope thats some help!

Someone recently told us of a really good Universal site. It lists all the eating places with prices.
