Has anyone been to these parks with a 2 year old ?
I've read that although they have some things there for small children, theres not a great deal of stuff for them to do.
I don't really want to be doing baby swap all day, because its not fair on ds, I'd rather leave it for a later trip.
What do you think

I would say looking at the attractions there wont be much for a two yr old to enjoy at IOA and at Universal well they might like Animal Planet Show and a *Day in the park with Barney* then again your 2 yr old might be freaked out by a big purple dinosour......i think you might be better off and trying it later on......but then again someone on here might have taken a young child and had a great time

I agree with highlander447
Suess Landing (IOA) is great for small kids. It's also where my brother developed a luv of "The Cat in the Hat"
But there r the nick characters 2. But of he/she likes barney, then rhat little area would b a great place for him/her.
:luck:

WE just went in florida with my 2 yr old cousin 40 inches. She was able to do Cat In The hat, Red Fish Blue Fish, Carosuessel, The Flying Unicorn, Storm Force, and that was it for IOA. She could do EVERYTHING at Universal except Twister which was way to intense for an 8 year old. The rides here were a lot more intense but she enjoyed it. So I hope this helps :ears:  :bounce:

Absolutely, IOA is fine for a 2 year old...
We took our DD who loved it, especially Seuss Landings. She's been hooked ever since and demands IOA is the first park we visit every time we go to Florida.
I must admit, there's less for her to possibly do in Universal.

Going to IOA tomorrow with hubby and daughter (1). It'll be the first time we have been with our daughter, so i hope there's rides for her to go on and enjoy.
