Mardi Gras at Uinversal

Has anyone ever gone to this or is anyone going this year ?
I would like to go there but cant do it this year:(

Hi as we usually go to Florida in March each year we have been to Mardi Gras about 15 times (4 times last year). The best time was in 2001 when our 2 grown up sons came with us. We went to the Hard Rock Cafe for Dinner & a drink or 2 then watched the parade followed by the B52's - we all had a great time. This year we will be there again for 3 weeks - can't wait. The atmosphere is really nice & there's lots of good music.

Mardi Gras at Universal Studios is one of the best events in Orlando. I missed last years event but got to see a lot of pics and info on it at a website a friend told me about: Orlandorocks.com. I went and checked it out the other day and they already have a few photos of Mardi Gras from this year and a list of who is going to be there this year. Hope this was of some help and hopefully you'll get here next year!!!

This is the best event at this park! Especially the fried crawfish tails! The party is fun, the entertainment is great and the beads are neat to collect. Won't be there this year, but sure enjoyed last year's celebration!
