Ok, strange question... but I've been to universal twice now, only the first bit not the second more ride based bit.

Got to say, have been unimpressed but I TRULY think I'm missing things somehow.

I'm not a thrill ride person, but I like VR rides and normal non-thrill rides.

So what are the highlights in universal? Do they have parades and things (If so, I've missed them all :(

I'm planning on going back in May and perhaps back to universal, if someone can give me some good things to see there :)

Men in black is brilliant - like buzz lightyear - but more exciting:cool:

Back to the future VR ride. Twister, Shrek 4d when it opens and Jimmy Neutron when it opens.:) oh and Terminator:thumbs:

Keith, IMHO, Spiderman is a must-do! one of the best rides I've ever been on:) Not too keen on Duelling Dragons, etc, but Spidy was terrific!

They do have a parade of the Marvel Comics characters, Spidy, Capt. America, etc, which was ok, but WDW really has them beaten in that area:D

Brill! Thanks all :))

I just don't know what it was, but we wandered around there last year not finding anything much to do. There didn't seem that many people there (actually if felt empty) so not much atmosphere and everytime we got to a ride like men in black, it seemed to have an hourly schedule meaning we'd just missed it.

I just didn't enjoy it.... but then I've spoken to so many people who screamed "DID YOU GO TO UNIVERSAL - OMG thats my FAVOURITE place" and I kinda sigh ;-)

I want to give it and seaworld another go

When we went to universal studios I felt the same Keithop. The only rides I like were men in black and the hanna barbera ride. I thought Jaws was boring, and didnt think much of kongfrontation. But now they are adding Jimmy Neutron and Shrek it should be better:D

I think that Seaworld is really an animal lovers park. I love animals, and water so I did enjoy Seaworld though I didnt go on Atlantis or Kraken. I loved the Shamu show and etting the dolphins, and for me that was worth the entry ticket:)

I could spend a day must walking around Universal! As for things you shouldn't miss - Terminator & MIB are both brilliant.

IOA have a lot of thrill rides but Spiderman is must for anyone.

Keith Op if you stay onsite at Universal they have big screen movies in the pools!!!

Personally - I love swimming and the prospect of watching big screen movies whilst soaking up rays, floating about on cool blue waters and sipping sumptious cocktails is toooo tempting

Keith will you be visiting IOA as well? If you are, then Spidey is a definite must-do ride.
If you are a fan of water rides, then Popeye + Bluto and Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls are also brilliant!
:hehe: :hehe:
