Do they allow you to bring water bottles into IOA?

They reportedly have clamped down and allow no food or beverages or oversized backpacks. This was posted at the entry gate not so long ago, although I'm not certain it is still there. I'd plan on not bringing anything in and asking about it. Sure beats their taking it or sending you away!

Thanks OTWTink. We'll leave the water bottles at the hotel and budget in extra drink money for that day.

I don't have an oversized backpack, but I do have a backpack that I'll be taking to keep an extra set of clothes for the kids, ect. in. Do you think it would be best to leave that at the hotel as well?

Although I'm not certain what they mean by over sized, I'd say go ahead and bring the clothes for the children. The security guards will check the backpack, of course, and shouldn't give you any trouble when all they find is clothing.
