Just checked Universal's website page "What's New" and it's now showing Shrek as opening in June.

Having searched the web, the actual date everyone seems to have is the 30th of June.

Is anyone able to confirm this?

Feeling a little sad as I just love Shrek and was really hoping it would open before we come home on the 17th June :(

You may be better off contacting Universal directly in order to get the correct information. If seeing Shrek 4D is that important on your list of must do's, can you not postpone your trip ?????:confused: :group:

I e-mailed Universal Studios yesterday to ask them about the opening date. Didn't receive a reply today but I'll let you know when I hear from them ... :D

Got a reply today and unfortunately they don't have an exact opening date yet :(

Hope its open in time for your holiday!:thumbs:

Thanks for letting me know. As Universal is showing it as opening in June on their website I will hope it's open in time but it won't ruin our holiday if it's not.

Reading a different site, i was lead to believe that it opened the memorial weekend (26th May i think) . I hope its this as i go myself on the 30th May - 13th June

Note link also states Jimmy Neutron is scheduled to open in April!

On the IOA boards these are openings for ironong out bugs and they are only soft openings also jimmy neutron i think its only the AP holders getting first crack at it
