Somebody once told me that this was a nice place to visit, has anybody been is it worth the 50mins drive?

Do you like antique shopping? Bear in mind that in the US, anymore, antique shops offer mostly collectibles and not true antiques.

It is a cute little place, with many antique shops. It has a pretty popular seafood restaurant, Dixie Crossroads. The food selections are quite fresh and reasonably priced.

You could while away a day there. :)

Thanks for that, do you think it would be any good for my children 2 girls of 8 and 13 and boy of 6?

Well, I can't really say. I don't know your children. If they like to visit small towns and wander about the sidewalks looking into shops then they should be happy ! :)

Sounds like the kids might prefer pool but remember its your hol as well so enjoy it we all need to make sacrifices incl the kids
