My Step-Daughter has dropped it on us that she plans to get married when we go in May.

She has her eye on the Little White Chapel.

Has anyone got married there, or has any other ideas on weddings, etc.

Regards

Oh, you should post this in the Weddings forum! We've had couples from the UK get married here, both on and off Disney property.

The Little White Wedding Chapel is on 192. Not hard to find, but in a very busy area.

Cypress grove does seem really pretty and reasonable- no chance of springing for a disney wedding?

Is your step daughter marrying anyone in particular or does she plan to meet someone in Orlando?- you just made it sound like a surprise that's all:hehe:

We also got married in Orlando, by the Rev. Jimmy Johnson (same as Redkop). Ours was also arranged by Virgin and we "did it" (oo-er missis) at the Sheraton World Resort. It was all very tropical and lovely. We did a 3 week stay, with one week at the Sheraton, a week on the Gulf Coast and then another week back in Orlando.

It was a great day, and we are so happy we got married in the sun, rather than at home in the rain....and it cost about £6k less than a wedding at home would have done too!

I keep hoping that one day DH will have saved enough pennies for us to renew our vows at the Disney Wedding Pavillion ($3000 plus extras:D :D :D )....of course thats AFTER he has bought me one of those nice houses in Celebration:hehe:

To make the holiday more special we had a limo to the airport (arranged by ourselves), Champagne in all the rooms we stayed at, Disney Wedding Ears and Mickey and Minnie Wedding ornaments. We had lots of special meals and romantic walks....mostly to the Pizza Hut after a long day at the parks:D

Redkop has alread mentioned you will need to collect your licence from Kissimmee (ignore the directions from the Virgin rep!!), but thats about the only formality there is........it will be GREAT!

Have fun!
