Space Mountain Disneyland

I heard this would be closed until 2005 for rebuilding. How sad!

But, I suppose if it needs to be rebuilt, I'm glad Disney is going to do it. But 2005? That's a long time!

:eek: :eek: :eek: Im surprised too that it will be shut for so long but im kinda glad. My family are going this October and I absolutely hate that ride. Im ok on most but I'll never forget seeing my two childrens heads juddering from side to side as we spun around in virtual darkness. As a mother my heart was in my mouth and I kept thinking of their backs, necks, my sanity!!! Its not something I normally worry about (not my sanity - thats always a worry) as I trust in the Disney people who devise the rides. Mind you its much kinder to your back than the space mountain in paris which loops the loop and corkscrews as well - its probably better to listen to the warnings they are screening in the queues before you get in the seat (something I neglected to do until wed set off and the lady next to me told me ALL about the ride). Was this your favourite ride in the park?
