OK, say I buy 150 points at the BCV now. In a couple of years, we decide we need more points and want the same use year. Through resale we buy 150 points at OKW.

Do we now have 2 home resorts? Do we have the 11 month reservation option for both? Thanks!

Ayuh, you do! Many folks do this for just that reason, to have more than one home resort and 11 month window! :D

As 'Tink says--yes, you do have 2 home resorts and the 11month window for both. However, the trick is you only have the 150points at the 11month window for each. To get around that, some folks bank/borrow and alternate home resorts. For example: For 2003, you bank all your OKW points and use your 150 BCV points. In the 2004 use year, you would have 300points to book at OKW at the 11month window. In the 2004 use year, you use your 300 OKW points for a wonderful vacation and bank your BCV points. In 2005, you would have 300 points for BCV and bank your OKW points, et'c. (there are other little technicalities that have to do with your vacation dates and use year, but we will assume that your vacation dates fall within the proper use year for this example).
The other option some folks use is to book the more popular Sun-Thurs dates (and high demand holidays) at the 11 month window at the home resort and then use the other resort points at the 7 month time frame to fill in the weekend dates. I can see where this would be tricky trying to manage two accounts. (I have seen some shareware being offered to help folks keep track of their multiple DVC accounts--and I can see why it would be needed--I need it just to keep track of one use year/home resort contract :) ).
