I’m staying on International Drive in June, I’m going with my girlfriend and our girl (She’s Five). I was wondering if anyone could recommend any entertainment at the night. Most holidays in the past we’ve struggled to find anything that’s suitable for us, and for a five year old (I hoping Orlando is different.

If you are planning on going out at night it may be an idea to take a break in the afternoon for a couple of hours, our then 6 year old was totally exhausted after a day in the parks:(

You could take her to the Chip and Dale Fort Wilderness campfire/singalong/filmshow, an inexpensive and very enjoyable nights entertainment. You can roast some smores on the fire, singalong with chip and dale and then watch a disney movie under the stars.
Ok Highlander...how DID you do that so that it shows up on all your posts?

Have a great time.

We to are staying along I-Drive in June with a 6 & 7 y/o in tow.
The Nights of Magic show at Wonderworks is not to be missed. In 2001, our Daughter (then 6) went up on stage and got involved in the show.
Otherwise, try Crazy Golf (Congo River and Pirates) to kill an hour or to. The Pirates Dinner Show does not come recommended as the food is dire and the show itself complicated to follow.
Enjoy and don't forget to build in afternoon naps into your itinery

International drive comes alive during the evening, theres plenty of things to do and the I-ride trolley means getting about is hassle free. Theres dinner shows, cinemas, restraunts, Ripleys believe it or not, wonderworks (the upside down building!) Mini golf at several locations, Skull kingdom, Go-karting, even a night at wet'n'wild is a possibility and loads more. ;)

I know that the following isn't family based but when we last visited Orlando (9, yes 9, years ago...boy I can't wait for June)..
We absolutley loved Blazing Pianos which was situated in the Mercado Village on I-Drive..
Is this still going??
I'd love to re-visit this year..

HI
Hope you enjoyed your trip. Did you find out if blazing pianos is still open. I loved that place but haven't been over since 1999. Going back in October and was really hoping to go there.
Thanks
Rainy :)

If you've got a 5 year old then the only thing you'll be doing at night is sleeping. Trust me.

Since this thread isn't discussing anything "Disney-related", I've moved it to a more appropriate forum!!!!
