Hi
We are going on holiday on the 5th December until the 19th December. We would like to do the dolphin swim. Does anyone know if there is a better day of the week to go, should we avoid the weekends?
Thanks any help would be appreciated.

They only let so many people in DC so it doesn't matter what day you go on, I think they let only 1000 in so it's never overcrowded.

As Redkop says, it doesn't matter when you go, but remember you get a " free " seven day admission pass into SeaWorld as well, so give yourself time to use it.
It's also worth noting that you should visit SeaWorld first to get the full benefit of the Dolphin attraction there and try to book your swim (upon entering DC) as that is when they are their most interactive.
Enjoy

they allocate swim times according to arrival time- we arrived at 8.15am and they were letting people in already- so get there early the time goes so fast - i cried when i had to go home and leave Diego (our dolphin):( :D

I have booked for the 3 of use to swim with the dolphins in October.....but I'm a bit worried because I really am terrified of sinking.
I can swim but not far and I HATE HATE HATE being out of my depth....I am worried!!!

Wendy, you'll be fine! Not only do you wear a wetsuit, you can wear a flotation jacket that would hold up a tank! I detest being out of my depth too, but when you are in the water with the dolphins you forget all about it after half a second:)
Go and enjoy it, it is wonderful!
Just don't collapse at the cost of the video!:hehe:

95% of the time you will be up to your waist - and then they do take you out in the deeper water- the wetsuits themselves do help you stay afloat but if you don';t want to don't do it- no one will make you do it and you'll probably find them very accomodating- after all this is your experience- why don't you give them a call and tell them your fears and let them put your mind at rest. You will have a wonderful time- enjoy it;)

Hi All
Thanks for the replies.
One other thing we are going with friends who have 9 & 7 year old girls and will have a 4 month old baby. Everyone wants to swim so we thought that they could go first and hubby and I would look after the baby and go later. Will the girls be out in the deep water with their mum and dad?
I can't wait - December seems sooooo far away.

Our 3 kids went swimming with both of us, but I'm sure you'll be able to arrange different times so that the baby can be looked after. There were loads of families there with under 6's.
Just a word of warning, although the park at full capacity does not seem crowded, its chaotic at the changing rooms at the end of the day b/c everyone is trying to leave at once! Also, don't forget what the combination of your locker is, or even where it is as I managed to do, my face was the colour of the sunset with embarrassment:blush:

B/c of limited entry it seems Sat. or Sun. would be good days so you aren't at the parks on their busy days.
