I can't tell you from personal experience but I've read a couple of threads on here that say it is good, and I've read some reviews online that say it was nothing special. Here is a link to an article from the Orlando Sentinal about the attraction.......

Personally, I love Jimmy Neutron, and can't wait to ride it

We got to ride Jimmy Neutron during the AP preview, we don't have AP's but since we were staying at the Hard Rock they let us in line too. It is so similar to the Hanna Barbara ride. They have just replaced all the theming in the que and the actual ride room. The cars you ride in are exactly the same. The ride is still a simulator while you watch a cartoon. They still offer a motionless area where you can sit and just watch the movie if you can't do the simulator. In my opinion the only difference is the cartoon characters and they've added some effects like bubbles, water spritzes, and "the chicken dance" (you'll have to ride to understand that one). Overall I was disappointed...I don't consider this a "new" ride at all, really only an updated one with lots of promotional hype. But for someone who has never done the HB version I'm sure it will be a hit, especially with the younger kids who watch these cartoons.

WQ don't be a mean Mum!
Tell DS that when we go in August he can come with us.
My Jack can't wait to ride it even though he is the world's biggest Scooby fan and was devastated when they closed the HB ride.

  Teresa!!!
If he thought he could go in August, he'd be packing as we speak!!!!
We had such a bad time at Universal with disabled 'inaccessability' for DH, I haven't got over it yet!!!! :( So I don't want to waste valuable time(or money) on Universal or IOA (which was worse!! must finish my trip reports!!!)
If he sees there's a new ride, I'll never hear the end of it!!!!!;) He'll live!! A few more 'Disney Brainwashing' sessions and he'll never want anything else in life!!!!!! WHAT??????!!!!!!!;)

I think this ride replaced the old hanna barbera simulator ride. It is a 4 passenger to a row ride that is full of all the current hip cartoon carracters. it is really fun and parents & kids all leave laughing. I do not want to spoil your susspense. we were there over easter vacation & the ride lines do fill up quick. We stayed at Portifino Bay so we autamatically had a express pass!!! no lines for us it was great & worth it !:bounce:
Here is your next ride to wonder about!
I agree with Erinsmom, this ride was a huge disappointment to me. Just a paintjob on the ride cars and a new film. The journey isn't anywhere near as fun as the other. I guess the characters will appeal to the kids as they'd know them much better, but I so miss Scooby, Fred, the Jetsons et al. Couldn't hear the soundtrack well either, so the story was lost on me. Maybe I'm just a grouchy old woman living in the past....not like it was in the old days.....etc etc....;)
Having said that, on the way out I had my piccie taken with Spongebob Squarepants....he's quite a dish in his shorts and socks.....
:hehe:
