I never considered other water parks until recently someone put the idea into my head that Wet'N'Wild might actually be better than the Disney parks, especially the kiddie areas.

If you have visited W'N'W would you please give me your opinions. Thanks

No comparison! Wet'n'Wild is a concreate jungle compared to TL and BB. If you're staying on Disney property I wouldn't even consider WnW.

Id agree that for overall appeal, The Disney water parks are far superior. Wet'n'Wild does have some really good rides and slides however the lack of theme and open plan lets it down a little. I think the kids will still love it though as theres plenty to occupy them with:) Its not a bad way to spend a few hours IMO:blush:

Thanks that helps a lot. We have been to BB and TL but still have much to see and do b/c my kids are young and have not been able to fully explore. So maybe after a complete exploration we will venture out for some of those rides Disney does not have. Thanks all that makes my trip planning so much easier!:)

Our children (9 and 7) loved all of the water parks but us adults love the Disney details.

The childrens' favourite water adventure is Curious George at Universal. There are no pools or deep water to worry about just adventures behind every door and window! They could have spent the whole day there if there wasn't so much else to see and do!!

Wet n Wild is all concreate that burns your feet when you walk on it and ugly tubes stick out everywhere...........yuk!

There is absolutely no comparison to the Disney Parks, they are beautifully themed and the tubes a disguised.

I find WnW more hectic then the Disney water parks.

Iam a bit biased (and do apoligize for bringing up an old thread) but I used to work at WnW. Personally I enjoy WnW over WDW's waterparks because they tend to be less crowded during the "seasons" (Summer,Christmas etc) I worked at WnW for 3 summers and while I was in the police academy in Florida so for me it was matter of convience vs money.

Ive been to River country (which stinks), Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach. I enjoy going to TL and BB very much but they do tend to get very crowded much more so than Watermania or WnW.

Watermania is in my mind an ok waterpark, more of an attraction for the locals much like WnW. Alot of folks who stay at Universal prefer WnW than the diosney parks.

No apology needed. Thanks for the input. We are not going at a really busy time but I will keep what you said in mind for when we do. thanks
