View Full Version : What's the worst attraction at WDW?

OKWTink
May 27th, 2003, 20:06
Hmmm...tough question. I'm one of those serious Disney freaks (sorry Disney Freak!) that likes just about everything! :) There are some attractions that I like less than others, but I don't really think I hate any one in particular. Body Wars makes me ill.

Mexico's boat ride is kind of boring, as is the Backstage Tours with Catastrophe Canyon.

Hmmm...I'll have to think about this one a little longer!

My personal worst is the movie in China - makes me seasick every time.

I like Tiki Birds.......

For me it would have to be body wars as well..just didn't do anything for me.

We really enjoyed the Tikki tikki room last May, but then it was very hot and we welcomed being able to sit down, have a rest and cool off. Plus we love both of the main characters.

I also avoid body wars because it makes me feel sick, as does the tea cup ride in MK. Unfortunately my DS & DD love them both, and they plead so sweetly that I just grin and bear it, whilst turning a shade of green.

I don't think there is a worst ride in WDW they don't have enough space to 'carry' bad or unpopular rides. But we all have our favourites.

I agree that BodyWars leaves little to be desired...nothing like a trip through the colon to start your day!;)

DH hates that boat ride in MK that has the dolls (I dare not mention it's name). He thinks the only reason anyone should go in there is to a) cool off, b) sooth a crying child or c) take an 11 minute nap (then again, you might dream of the dolls). I think this one could use a major update.

I enjoyed Tikki Room...I found myself singing for the rest of the day. I had not seen the original, so I have nothing to compare it to.

I would have to say the Teacups (sick :p ) and the Tree house are my least favorites.

I can't stand either Body Wars or Star Wars - both make me very sick to my stomach!

I'm not as fond of the Enchanted Tiki Room as I used to be - Iago is just TOO irritating.

Not too fond of the "doll" ride, either...

probably Body Wars for me too, it's the only ride that makes me ill.

I am one who never cared for the COP either I am afraid. I never got to expirence that without it breaking down every time I tried to go on it.

For me tho,, based on the last time I rode it,, Space Mountain is a close second. I had been riding the RocknRoller coaster earlier in the day,, and when we rode SM,, it felt very rough and jerky. My neck felt at times like it was going to break in half. I don't remember it being that jerky in the past, but then it could that the RnR is so smooth in comparason, it made SM seem due for a rehad :(

It's a Small World has got to be the worst but unfortunately is my 4 year old's favourite so no doubt when we visit in October we will ride and ride and ride .....

For the record we love The Tiki Birds.

It's weird,, but my girls age 12 and 16, love "It's a Small World" :lol,, they say we have to ride it, cos it's "tradition" :bounce: There are a few rides I would have thought they would find to be too 'young' for them, that they insist on riding due to 'tradition'..lol. It's ok by me tho,, it's the only time my older daughter (who I must mention is verrry 'cool') will hold my hand as we walk :lol. *sniff

MK And we left the enchanted tikki room. My husband and I left it was so boring to us.

Epcot The land where they take you on the tour of vegetable....we would have left this one also if there was a way off.

AK and MGM I seem to like everything at these two parks.

COUNTRY BEARS!!!! I might have liked this show when I was 12 and WDW had just openned. But now it seems dated, worn out, sexist, and inappropriate for children. Yeah I hate it.

You know it's been so long since I have set foot in there that I can't remember the words exactly but I just remember my DH and I exchanging glances when were there with our then 3 year old DD, and thinking I'm glad the audio is so bad because I'd rather my kids not hear this. It's not that it's shocking or uses bad language it is just unnecessarily provocative IMHO.

If I had to get rid of one ride it would probably be tea cups in MK.I dont see the fun it only makes me sick.

Just did a little internet searching and this list of songs just about sums it up...

* "My Woman Ain't Pretty, but She Don't Swear None," performed by Liver-Lips McGrowl

* "Mama, Don't Whip Little Buford," performed by Henry and Wendell

* "Tears Will Be the Chaser for My Wine," performed by Trixie

* "All the Guys that Turn Me On Turn Me Down," performed by the Sun Bonnets -- Bunny, Bubbles, and Beulah

* "Heart, We Did All that We Could," performed by Teddi Barra, descending on a swing from the ceiling (Mae West style)

* "Blood on the Saddle," performed by the unbearable Big Al

* "Blood on the Saddle," performed again by Big Al
(Like once wasn't enough?)

"There was...
blood on the saddle,
and blood all around.
And a great, big puddle
of blood on the ground."

So I don't know if it's the reference to swearing (something my kids don't even know about) or the reference to child abuse, or the idea that you should drink to solve your problems, or perhaps the lovely child hood favorite "All the Guys that Turn Me On Turn Me Down," and there is too much singing about blood. So there you have it. Each to his own.

PS I did cut out the titles of 2 or 3 songs that were ok by my mind, for the sake of simplifying the post.

BigThunder
May 29th, 2003, 05:03
I remember thinking a little, ooooh, on the all the guys that turn me on turn me down or whatever it's called. Of course I'm a bit prudish when it comes to my kids but I was a little taken back by that song.

Least favorite ride or attraction. Probably Living Seas now that the "ride" part of it is gone. Not that I was that crazy about it then. It just seems like a lot to go through to just go look in some tanks. I could skip it every year!

I like the Tiki Birds!!

ok i think im the only one here who feels this way - but i LOVE its a small world!! its too darn cute and tradition and i luv international stuff and brotherhood among nations, and gosh darn it, i like the song too!!!

my least fave - universe of energy! oh and indiana jones! too long and boring for both of them!!!

um, my family hates the jungle cruise but i LOVE that one too!!

Now I've got a feeling alot of you are going to want to Donkey Kick me Eeyore style for saying this, as I've read before about those of you who like this ... but I was SO bored of 'O Canada'.... dont get me wrong, nothing against Canada or Candians, there are some beautiful shots but I think I was just expecting something a little more than a HUGE TV... My feet got bored of standing too and in the end I joined some kids in front playing on the bars (I'm 24 !!!)

Hands down,no ands, ifs or buts, those evil little dolls occupy the worst attraction in all of WDW. Those little weirdos freak me out with their evil eyes.

Just my 2 cents, but Iago rules, and so does CoP, and Universe of Energy. But that's what is cool about WDW, you don't have to like everything to love it so much.:D

I didn't like the little dolls, I wanted to get off halfway round. Also I didn't like the speedway, had to wait too long to just plod slowly round a track behind some poor little kid who couldn't reach the pedal too good.

Didn't mind Body Wars, fairly good storyline and pretty fast paced in places.

For me the worst are Star Wars and Body Wars. They both make me nauseous and that is tough to do.

BTW, in the Enchanted Tiki room make sure you stay to the bitter end, don't let them force you to leave until IAGO stops talking.

It has been several years since I've been to Disney World, but I remember that Universe of Energy at Epcot was the absolute worst. I've heard that it has been improved, but my cousing and I were bored out of our minds. We literally almost fell asleep in the thing. Even with the reports of the improvment, I know that I will skip it this time, if for no other reason than to save time!

It is interesting how some people hate something and others love it.

My family (3yr 6yr DH & me) we all love the Universe of Energy. I think it is clever, funny and "edutaining". But maybe it is b/c of our familiarity with Ellen DeGenerous (sp? I'm not familiar w/ that) and Bill Nye the science guy, both on American TV shows.

I hate its a small world! I had a dream one night at disney that the boat stopped and all the dolls jumped onto the boat with axes....I'll say no more!

Can you imagine being on IASW and the lights going off, the boat stopping but the music still playing and all you can see are these little eyes moving all around you in the dark??? That would be so creepy!!

Bev
June 1st, 2003, 20:09
What a good id UK kid they could revamp the ride into a horror boat ride with a guide similar to the great movie ride. It could go dark and the tour operator could be captured by the dolls and tied up only to be replaced by another in the next continent who got free It wouldn't cost much they already have the evil dolls and the tortourous sound track........

I don't particularly like IASW, but when was the last time anyone had to queue for it?!!! It's tradition to ride it in our family

Think it would have to be the Speedway for me, haven't been on it; but it takes up soooo much room and smells of burnt rubber :p
Think the imagineers should spice it up with a Stitch re-vamp! Little space ships rather than cars :)
Haven't been to see CBJ for ten years!

Seems as though some of the EPCOT pavillions need some updates, reading everyone's comments: the Land, Energy, Living Seas...

Dizzyknee, my husband has worked in the oil field since he was 18, in almost every capacity imaginable. We are all well versed in the origins of oil. We are one of the only families who are happy when the gas prices go up. Job Security!!!

I am positive that Ellen Degeneres was not a part of Universe of Energy when we rode it. (Like I said, it's been a while) I'm sure that when DS is hot and tired, a ride through might not seem quite as bad as it did to a 17 y/o back then.

mare1203
June 4th, 2003, 19:28
i have to agree that the Universe of Energy is one of the worst rides, along with Body Wars. IASW is a tradition in our family and we usually get on it when our legs are really tired or its raining in the park. Thinking about being in the ride all alone with the dolls is creepy. The CM's on Jungle Cruise made it a joke that if you lost your kids that was where they would be all night (so don't go out so fast you lose them)! Scary, but it was the best Jungle Cruise I had ever been on.

I love the Tiki Room , I even bought a bird in Epcot ( Mexico) that's perched on it's own ring . As soon as I saw it I started singing in The Tiki, Tiki , Tiki Room . DH cracked up ! It looks so cute in my living room that I can't wait to go back to buy another . You can put them together.
I agree I don't like Body Wars , it makes me feel sick . I'm also not crazy about the Backlot in MGM . They need to change it,,, already . Boring !!! DH likes it though , so I ride it . I like to see the expressions on the people riding it for the 1st time . That's Always Fun !

I LOVE IT'S A SMALL WORLD!!!!! My DH & DS would probably not agree with me. The last time we were there was my daughters first time in WDW, and her first ride was IASW, well.....her eyes just lit up!!!! It was her first taste of the "magic" and I still get misty eyed thinking of the look on her face. Now as far as the worst...I would say...Tom Sawyer island, Body Wars (Yuk),and Food Rocks.

OK - Worst attraction for us is Robinson Treehouse. Lots of climbing, not too much to see and kids always run on ahead. 2nd is the Tiki room but haven't seen it since it's been under new management.

what's that ride?.. um... ITS A SMALL WORLD... yes, i believe that's the name... :hehe:.. I LOVE THAT RIDE!! the dolls are SO cute and to be fair.. the song isn't in the same language the whole time! lol. i'm a history buff so i like seeing the dolls from diff. cultures.. and i like the relax time. Last year I made my friends and our moms go on it 5 times while we waited for our fast pass times to be ready for Peter Pan's Flight... they weren't too happy... :hehe:

But.... i'd have to say that I don't like Alien Encounter... i hate the dark :(.. and i've never actually sat through the whole thing... I also thought that the Winnie the pooh is not worth a long wait! it's too short... but it's cute. I love the tiki room :)... i just get up and dance and have fun... i don't like big thunder mountain.. it's so boring! and the rides in mexico and norway.... a lot of stuff is boring... but it's disney... i can deal!! :)

Although I hate to admit it, there are a couple of rides that could do with a little updating! The Tikki Birds was perhaps the most painful thing I have ever endured! TeknoNurd

The Swiss Family Treehose is AWESOME! Try to find anything like it outside Disney... Impossible! As someone mentioned earlier, this for my family is one of those 'Traditional' rides. When the park opens, and other are running for Space/Splash Mountains, we are going for the Treehouse.

The rides I don't care for are the carnival rides, like the teecups. I can do that at any travelling carnival, I don't need to spend time on it at Disney.

The Tiki Birds SUCKED. My husband made me sit through the whole thing and I thought I was gonna die. I kept looking around the room at the other people there and no one seemed to be particularly enjoying it.

Also, I have to concur with so many of you... Teacups make me really ill, as does Body Wars. At the moment the worst attraction is The Living Seas at Epcot - there is NO POINT to that attraction, if they're going to redo it then they should shut it down and put us out of our misery.

And oh yes, how can we forget JOURNEY INTO IMAGINATION. It's a bit better than it was, but not much. Ouch.

Enchanted Tiki Birds is the business! If the original was better, I wish I'd seen it. Don't even know where BCJ is!

The Great Movie Ride was pretty grim, although the going-through-the-motions guide/driver was responsible for most of that.

Also, haven't been to Test Track since '99, but pre-fast pass you had an hour+ of thumping, banging and NOISE (courtesy of GM) before you got to the ride itself!

afsilverfox52
July 11th, 2003, 02:39
Its not the ride as much as the resturant at the China pavilian in Epcot. My family and I had the worst dinner and the poorest service of any resturant we have ever visited. This includes non-Disney properties. The food was not even warm, our appetizers came the same time as desert and the waitress was more then rude. When we paid the bill, she stood waiting for her tip. We reported the problem to the front desk at the resturant but to no avail. Even the garden with the bonsi plants has detiorated and was not nearly as pleasing as in years past. :(

why is everyone so against body wars? I loved it! I love motion simulators, so even that was great for me! And i love star wars! But i swear to GOD if i have to go on that evil little boat ride ever again.... i wanted to jump out of the boat and swim to safety! The fact that it goes -5 miles an hour doesnt help either.

My dad recorded the WHOLE ride on tape back in 88. My mom was watching it a few days ago and made me sit through the whole thing... i sincerely thought i was just going to die on the couch right then. It seemed ten times longer on tape than in real life, too!

By far the worst ride is the bus ride at the end of the day. Not only because it's the end of the day but you have to walk a mile to get to one (by this time I am usually very tired and they stuff 3 timess the number of passangers on it that should be on the bus.

Uggh. You are sooo right! I remember the last time we were at WDW, we tried to get on the bus right after the MK fireworks. Not only were there five times more people than there should be, the bus broke down...TWICE! We got home SOOOOOOO late.

The worst by far for me had to be between Universe of Energy (I haven't seen it since the update), Living with the Land, and the boat ride in Mexico.

I like IASW, especially for a rest, but by the end of the ride even I am ready to strangle those camouflaged Chucky dolls...

Alien Encounter is definitely the worst ride at Disney, followed closely by Small World and Jungle Cruise. The cruise is really old and tired, though not as bad as 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea was by the time they permanently sank that ride. As for AE, I've never seen so many kids inappropriately dragged in there by their foolish parents, and then scared half to death, turning them into screaming, sobbing wrecks begging to be let out.

TOT is also highly over-rated, though I enjoyed the Twilight Zone ambience.

We loved the updated Tiki room, found Ellen's Energy Adventure to be a much improved version of the energy pavilion ride, and thoroughly enjoyed Body Wars.

I have to add the Maelstrom at the Norway Pavilion. For some reason, (I guess the name) I thought I was missing something really exciting by not having been on this ride. SNOOZE!!! I skipped the film at the end.

As for the Jungle Cruise, it is a little tired for those of us who have seen it before. But this ride was one of Walt's visions, and hopefully will not fade away anytime soon. Of course, he did want REAL animals in it....:hehe:

For me ........at Magic Kingdom it was the Alien Encounter. I hated that ride. Not that it was scary or anything like that, it didn't make me sick, it was just stupid! I was against riding it the whole time, but no......I can still hear those words "look.....there is no line for it". That is one ride I could not wait until it was over. At EPCOT it would have to be Body Wars. I could not wait to go on it last time I was there (10/01). I hadn't rode it since 4/92. After we got off the ride, my mom looked at me and said "you made me go on that?" Well I guess those are 2 rides I won't have to worry about on this years trip.

However, I guess I am one of the few who love It's a Small World! I also love Country Bear Jamboree. The Tiki birds were ok, but I never got to see the old show. It was hot the day we went, so it was just a cool place to set for a while.

I guess I just love everything about Disney World (including waiting on the bus back to the hotel!) Even attraction lines don't bother me.

45 days til I go Disney!!

After a great deal of debate among the family the vote from the Edinburgh jury is that those Country Bears have got to go. Old fashioned, jaded and boring. A special mention to the large Morroccon lady in the bazaar at Morrocco Epcot who was stamping childrens world masks. Its comforting to know that Snow White has a replacement when Grumpy has to retire.

Hey, attraction lines didn't bother me in July, because I never waited in any long ones! :bounce:

Seriously, the only time we waited for any length of time was outside the gate waiting for them to open the park, and once outside Test Track. It broke down at park opening time when we were only 10 people back from the entrance to the ride. We hated to give up our spot in line, which already extended back to Innoventions, but the ride wasn't running...we finally moved on and came back later with our fast passes. (no waiting!)

If you want the same no-waiting experience, even during peak season, get the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World and enjoy the lack of lines you get if you follow the guidance of this excellent book. :ears: Of course, it's still hotter than Hades in Orlando in the summer, but what the heck. ;)

Anyway, my husbands vote is for 'that boat ride with the evil dolls'. Got a chuckle from the BWAHAHA and pic earlier on in the thread! Of course, I will now be singing 'that song' for the rest of the day.
But as far as I'm concerned, a Disney trip isn't a Disney trip without it! Not that I really like it that much, I just like to tease Anthony by making him go on it!
By the way, did anyone see that Friends epidsode when they talk about the ride, very funny!

Although Country Bears is truly awful, Small World is like a demented dream, and Body Wars is incredibly tedious, my vote for the very WORST attraction is Test Track. It's like waiting in line to visit a garage and (big thrill) ride in a car.( WE RODE IN THE CAR 15 HOURS TO GET TO DISNEY )

Awww...I loved the Tikik Tiki room! When ever my wife breaks out one of her disney cd's I play that song a thousand times, while running around the house like a loon.

I would say the worst attraction is Space Mountain, followed by County Bears, and Body Wars. Space moutain is way to jerky, Country bears is just way out dated and a little odd, and Body wars just doesn't float my boat.

I just love everything in Epcot! I couldn't get enough of World of Motion. Anyone remember the animatronic postman getting chased up the tree. Loved it. LOL

I just like wandering through epcot and taking it all in. The worlds, everything! The performers at the Canadian pavillion are halarious.

BTW, "the evil doll boat ride" is just plain spooky. I keep waiting for the dolls to sing.. "It's a small world after all, it's a small world after all...... SO YOU HAVE NO PLACE TO HIDE!" "MUHAHAHAHAH" Then they jump in your boat and...... ;)

I just drown them out with the Tiki Tiki song....
"In the Tiki Tiki Room, in the Tiki tiki room....all birds and the bees, and the flowers bloom, in the tiki tiki room."

In The Hall of Presidents I enjoy when they finally show the figures, but the movie is horrible. The fake southern accents are annoying and actually insulting. Also, although slavery is a sad part of our history and should be recognized as such, I do not believe that the entire history of the US can be distilled into the history of slavery in America, which is exactly how they present it. If they did away with that endless and horrendous film, the attraction would be much improved.

I have to agree with this, but i also hated all the movies in Epcot. The only thing that i enjoyed was resting my aching feet.

In deffence, I have to say I LOVE IASW, and JC, and TTRUNM. I love the song in the tiki room. I can do perfect imatations of all the birds and annoy the heck out of my friends

And for the person who suggested a sleep over in :afraid: IASW. it seems like something from fear factor... :afraid: but as for the rest of the park... thats an interesting idea, having sleep overs in WDW. WDW are family parks and not all rides appeal to all age groups. I would not expect someone over 8 to have the Tea Cups and Saucers as their favourite ride just as I wouldn't expect a five year old to like Space Mountain. The whole question is the quality of the overall experience. Judging from the posts on the worst rides, it would appear that they all are. Hardly one has been missed out! Disney have to strike a balance. With the success the parks have had in the past, maybe they got it about right!
For me Tikki Birds is a poor show. I find the Hall of Presidents boring, an oasis of education in a desert of pleasure. I would have moved this ride (?) to the more educational Epcot.

OK it took me a while to see this but on PAGE 3 of this thread I feel I need to defend a ride since no one else did. PLEASE DON'T TAKE THIS IN THE WRONG WAY. With all due respect Dizzyknee, please tell me you were joking calling the Country Bear, in so many words, inappropriate for kids. While I will agree with you on the dated part of this attraction and it needs to be upgraded for sounds, lights, pneumatic systems, and animatronics.....I can't justify changing the show for it's content. Again- PLEASE DON'T TAKE THIS IN THE WRONG WAY but unless kids are living in a cave they are exposed to far worse then this everyday and they are a lot smarter then parents give them credit for as well. If an ounce of effort is put into raising them correctly with any kind of morals, then the content in the CBJ attraction will be seen as just fun or an attempt to be.

I've never been one to push, on anyones kids or will I on my own, my belief structure to help further my agenda or personal crusade to address issues I don't like. I've seen it all to often now days people that try to isolate there kids from the world we live, use them as tools to illustrate there points, and hold them like a porcelain Vase to protect them....The sad thing is in the future when they are on there own, and it will happen eventually, that Vase will drop and there ideas of the world will shatter like the world they thought they knew. When that world is finally put back together, after seeing the world for what it is, you better hope the pieces come back together in a good way. My point is that Disney does nothing to promote swearing or killing people while on saddles and so on.....the show is just fun and not a message....Most kids see the show as just fun or not fun.....Adults see message in things because we are more critical after being in the real world....Please know that most kids care less about the words then the visuals it uses. Ask a bunch of kids coming out of the CBJ the words or meaning to the songs more then likely they say a half of a phrase and have no idea or care out the meaning of it.

I'm sorry if anyone disagrees with me on this but while many people may not like an attraction, I hate when they are changed to taken out due to being NOT PC in todays society or morally correct to reflect the current moral standard. Again PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THE ABOVE IN A HOSTILE MANNER. I'm merely stating my opinion, as the rest of you were in this thread and while I can say I disagree with and agree with the rest of you on numerous choices and respect that, but I just noted a belief to defend kids and my attraction...... Hope you guy understand my intent. I'm :afraid: that some people might take this the wrong way but LOOK I'm :) writing this.....

Having just returned from a trip with my 3 year old (and done all 4 parks) I think the worst attraction has to be Pangani Forest Exploration Trail. So little effort has been put in here. I think it's just a time filler to reduce the queues in Africa.

It's so bad we didn't visit Maharajah Jungle Trek as we assumed it would be more of the same.

It's basically a small zoo that any small town (never mind multi million pound theme park) does a lot better with. I'm from Edinburgh and we have one of the best Zoo's in the world so maybe I'm a bit spoilt.

As for the Safari ........ well that's in my top 5.

For one of the best Zoo's in the world there are no elephants, the polar bear lives in a crappy wee house, and there are hardly any gorillas! Love the penguins though!

Anyway, i cant believe no one mentioned the Tomorrowland Transit Authority, it goes nowhere and theres nothing to see, only good thing about it was that i got a seat for 5 minutes.

Swiss family tree house was a bit of a disappointment but hopefully that'll get done up soon, seen as the DL one was done recently.

My husband and I go to WDW quite a bit, and are always looking for something to do that we haven't done before. This past trip, over Memorial Day weekend, we experienced what I thought was the absolute worst attraction at WDW -

The Enchanted Tiki Birds, Under New Management

Gosh, I almost got up and walked out in the middle (like 1/4 of the audience did), it was so bad. I was really disappointed in it.

What do YOU think is the worst attraction at WDW?

Body Wars, Alien Encounter and Tomorrowland Speedway are all tied for second worst in my book.

I can't wait to see your answers...

I vote for - ITS A SMALL WORLD! We got stuck in it last year for an hour last year with the tune going over and over again, and those scary doll things are creepy!!! i couldnt get the tune out of my head for two weeks - all together now....its a small world after all......:p

I thought the Tiki hut was fun! And I *LOVED* the Country Bears, that was a superb show, I really enjoyed it! I had "blood on the saddle..." in my head for a fair while afterwards!

I have 3 rides Im not keen on.

I didn't enjoy Maelstrom, mainly as the thing broke down for an hour whilst we were in it, but it just seemed very short and quite boring.

I thought the Barnstormer wasnt great... nice premise, but queuing up for 20 minutes for a 30 second ride isnt my idea of fun.

Spaceship Earth. Oh GOD this thing was boring! Constantly getting warnings that the car was going to slowly rotate, and warnings to watch my step over and over again, it just annoyed me.

And finally, I enjoyed Big Thunder Mountain, but sadly its one of the 3 rides which was considerably better at Disneyland Paris.

The theming is much more in depth including special effects and the such, its located right in the middle of the Rivers of the Far West (ie Rivers of America) so the tracks often come up out of the water.

The track is smoother but wilder and more exciting.

BUT.......

I'm thrilled that the parades exist. I would not trade them for anything. This is due to that fact that, while the parades are going on, they take people away from the other things that I DO like to go do.

Is that selfish????

Nope, not at all :D

I love the parades, but love the not so long lines too. Yet I revel in getting to relax my feet for an hour whilst waiting for the parade :D

Nah your not selfish, unless you got kids who want to be seeing it. :D

I love the parades.

It's hard to pick an attractions, as I love the place to death. If you twisted my arm I'd say Bear's Jamboree. Although there was one (now I hope I don't have Disney & Universal a little confused) with a little boy's head that you see what's happening through his eyes. That wasn't one of the more appealing to me.

I don't know what to think!!!!!!!!!

I don't know who to trust!!!!!!!!!!!

Tea cups make me puke...literally..spent 2 hours being ill after the Tea Cups in 99.

Tiki room is appalling. once was too many times.

Swiss Family Robinson was the biggest waste of time and space on God's good earth. I have never been so disappointed in my life. It's Still the "in" joke in our family after 4 years ! I even swore

Another thread starter is the "best ride at Disney"...

That's a bummer about the cups. I don't like the "under new management" that much. I love Swiss Family, just to see what "it was like"

hmm... i actually cant say a single attraction that i dislike at wdw! which probably makes me such a big Disney freak hehe. but to be honest i love it there soo much - everything about it, counting down the days/hours till I'm there again. Even the rides & shows that seem quite dated, they are generally things that Walt wanted there, and - to me - that makes them so special!

lots of disney love

Having got back last week I have to amend my "worst at Disney Parks" ride etc. I's just got to be Stich.
Wierd, anti climactic dross of the lowest order

Well, that's annoying. Especially since they took out such a good attraction in order to put in Stitch. I loved Alien Encounter.

Totally agree

I just don't understand the point of it

Especially when you're behind an old duffer :old: with their VERY young grandson who can barely walk. It took ages!

Still, it killed the time until our next fastpass

The Swiss Family Tree doo-da wasn't the best. Although up top, you could get a few lovely views of the park, amongst all the trees.
That body wars ride, I haven't been on it. But in the same section, they had a booth where you could watch a child being born. Who in their right mind would subject anyone to that?!
Thank goodness that's been closed for a little while ...... !!!

Dear all,

Given several complaints about recent comments in this thread concerning pet peeves and scooter users, the mod team has split off those comments.

As ever, because of the nature of this site, we try harder than most to ensure that the comments made are appropriate for everyone and are not hurtful, even unintentionally hurtful.

I would like to remind everyone to think carefully about content before posting. On forums like this, all people have to go on is your text and misunderstandings can easily occur.

This thread is focussed on the "worst attraction at WDW" and no further comment on pet peeves is appropriate here.

If anyone has had a post moved that they feel shouldn't have been moved, I know we probably lost a couple in the move, and it's on topic then please feel free to repost it.

Any problems or concerns about the moderation of this thread should be directed to one of the mods or admins and not discussed here.

Thank you all for understanding.

I don't really like Spaceship Earth which is the ride in the Epcot ball thingy. I just think it is really boring and a waste of time.

As I was going through people's answers about there least favorite ride, I was shocked that a lot of you said it was IASW. I never thought it was creepy or scary, just "traditional family ride"!!!

I LOVE :loveshowe IASW!!
