Hi,
Can anyone suggest a place to find cheap holidays to Disneyland Paris? I've searched loads of site who offer 'Cheap' packages but they're still all more expensive than the direct price from Disney.
The only saving I've found so far is by buying 1 share in Eurodisney as you then get discounts (Share price is only 40.5p each).
Any help would be great.

Have you looked at the Cresta holiday brochure?
We used them for all 3 of our trips and couldn't beat them.We found it much cheaper to stay offsite and catch the RER to the park. The offsite hotels usually offer free kids places and free nights for longer stays.
If you want any more info don't hesitate to ask or PM me.

Teresa is right, unless you stay off-site & book tickets seperately, there just aren't any really good deals!!:(
Booking DLParis is nothing like booking WDW!!! You can't book anything seperately!!
You do get 'Kids Free' or '4 Nights for 3' at certain times of year, but you can't book 'room only'. The prices are per person, too, not per room as at WDW!!
IMO, it's hard work booking DLP.
It's Disney, but not as we know it, Spock!!!:D

We've been to DLP twice and Florida 7 times. You can get a good offsite, cheapflight to Florida for 2 weeks for less than 3 days at a Disneyland Paris resort. You're not allowed to buy your own deal from DLP you have to take it or leave it.

I've been considering taking DH and 2 children to DLP for his birthday in September. There is method in my madness. I'm hoping he'll return the favour and take us to WDW for my and DDs birthdays in January!! (Not much hope of that!!)
After reading your answers I think I'll hold off and wait until we can go back to Florida.
I just need a Disney Fix!!!
Teresa - glad to see you back. Hope all is OK!

We booked ours at disneylandparis.com. You can book the hotel which includes park tickets and is priced per person. You do not have to book transport with DIsney though as we booked with BMI and got a very good rate on our flight. Worked out cheeper than booking transport with DISNEY

We went last June with Natiional Holidays, stayed offsite. The trip including theme park entrance cost £149.00 each for me and husband and £129.00 for Emma (then 3).
I think it's worth doing it this cheaply cos otherwise it works out more value to go to Florida. We did this in '97. I had wanted to go over to Eurodisney near Christmas to see parades and holiday festivities but it was cheaper to spean a week at WDW!

The cheapest way I have found of going to DLP is to book the hotel in DLP (price includes the tkts) via the website
Then book eurostar tkts to Gard du Nord - more flexibilty in times than going straight there. Then you just have to buy a tkt to marne la valle chessy and go on the RER - very easy. I think these cost about £10 and the eurostar was £69
Oh and if your really tight like us then load up on the free breakfast and have it for lunch in the park later!!!

Hello people, I am new here and I need some time to look around your posts. So forgive me if you have answered my question somewhere. I also wanted to tell you that I am in Greece, so if you suggest any travel offices, I will have to ask them if they do business with foreigners.
I want to ask you if there is something wrong with the site of disneylandparis because I face 2 problems.
Firstly, I don't get an answer from the "contact us" people
Secondly; I try to get advantage of the offer "extra night and day free". I want to visit them one day that the offer is valid but when I book the hotel, it gives me a different price when I pick 3 nights and when I pick 4 nights (It should be the same since the 4th night is free).
and an othee question. If you stay inside DP do you get an extra pass that lets you pass quickly to the games?
Can someone help me? thank you in advance,
Evangelia

Hi,welcome to the site :)
Im not sure about travel agents in England who cover Greece but I wasnt able to get any response from the official site by email either. Are you able to call them to ask them how you book to claim your free night? If not you need to find your nearest travel agent as they will call Disney for you (saving your phone bill). They should be happy to get the prices for your holiday and it will cost the same as booking via the site.
Depending which hotel you stay in you might get some fastpasses to get onto the rides quicker but it depends on the hotel you choose.(The more expensive the hotel the more passes-also if you are in a Disney hotel you can go into the park much earlier on some days so get on the rides much quicker).

Direct is the best price Im afraid. We have done coach before but you spend 2 days travelling so its a false economy. Are you able to travel anytime as prices do drop considerably at certain times.

Thank you so much for your quick response!
We are thinking in staying at Santa Fe hotel, which I guess it is the cheapest so I don't think that the fastpasses are included :(
But you can buy a fast pass for extra money, am I right?
What is the chip and PIN card?
Also, I wanted to ask you something else (since you are so helpful).
I want to put my 2,5 yo DD in the mood. Can I download the parade music from somewhere? or any other ideas? I have also downloaded coloring pads for her. And I have planned to "introduce" her to all the characters from DVDs. What else?

You can get into the park early on certain days (extra hours)when staying in the Santa Fe.This will let you get straight onto the Dumbo's,Peter Pan etc if you get to the park early. These rides are perfect for your DD and a couple of the shops are open too.
You do get fast passes by staying at the Santa fe but you cant buy them at all.
Chip and pin is your credit card,if you want to pay with it in shops or restaurants.
Im not sure where you can download the music as it changes a lot but youtube is good for clips of the park/hotels etc.
The characters are in the Santa Fe and this will be great for your DD to meet them as its less crowded than the Park incase she is a bit shy or scared :)

but the site is so unhelpful. It is supposed to alter prices accoring to the color of the days but they have messed it up. And "yellow" days are NOT the cheapest ones as they say

of course i have time. The problem is that at the request form where it says "country", UK is pre-chosen and I can't switch it to GREECE :( and the problem is that I can't email them to ask for the brochures

I have emailed some tourist agents here in Greece, they say that it is too soon for giving a price :confused: At the end of the month they will know . (I want to go at May)

Disneyland Paris are THE most unhelpful people I have ever come across.
I would definetly recomend just calling them.
Oh and your travel agent is right, it is not on sale yet. They release it in blocks and May is always done realy late.
It usually works out cheapest booking with them direct plus (for people travelling form the uk) they have the stay and travel free offer at the minute.

Definetly call them though, when you do you usually get through to florida and they are great, really helpful and spend the time looking through for the best offers, unlike the paris office!!!!

So the agents (some of them) answered me back.
They give me (after my suggestion) the kid for free (Anna is 2,5 yo) and the night and day free. The price I have for Santa Fe is 314 x 2 adults = 628€euros , 5 nights/6 days
And for CHEYENNE 346 x 2 adults = 692€
Is it a good price?
Which hotel is better?

Ledger are really the only operator I tend to find cheaper than booking direct.
A lot of people have stopped having their own DLP brochure as the margins that they were making were minimal due to DLP direct offering high discounts and always have special offers on.

I am afraid I don't understand
Let me make it clear
Ledger must be a travel agent right? Does he accept foreigners as customers? (I am in Greece)
The major disadvantage in the oficial site is that you can't contact anyone. The emails are never answered and how can you book online if you can't have your questions answered. For Example. I tried to book the hotel and you can't remove the "UNITED KINGTOM" from the "COUNTRY" field.
So my adress is wrong, since I want to write " GREECE" and when I change country and choose Greece, it automaticaly directs me to the English version. :hehe:
Another question I have. What is the DLP currency? I guess it is euros since France's currency is euro. SO when I see pounds, I do not convert them with google converter or any other converter. Instead of that, I go to an other country (for instance Germany) and see the price in euros, since the pound is a lot cheaper now than it was the time they set the prices.

Ledger is a tour operator like Tui/Thomas cook/Virgin
I am sorry I really dont know how you can get a booking with them....what happens when you call them, I have never had a problem when actually calling them.

Im sure Leger only travel from England and I used them once(NEVER again).
As for the better hotel Id take the Cheyenne for such small amount more. You get what you pay for so it should prove better quality.Your children will love the bunk beds too.

I've never stayed at Newport Bay, but I would definitely stay at Hotel New York again, its a great hotel, and the closest you can get to the parks without staying at Disneyland Hotel! Newport Bay is more of a moderate hotel, as opposed to New York being more towards the Deluxe end.
Also, I've heard reports about Newport Bay being too big, and people having to walk a long time before getting to their rooms

The NY for me out of those two.
last time we stayed in the bay we made the mistake of asking for a room with a nice view...it was almost the furthest room out(literally)and took 5 mins to walk to from the lobby.

I have stayed at both several times. New York is classed as a higher grade than the Newport but I personally prefer the rooms at the Newport Bay. Both are convention hotels but we find the New York to be more 'business' like than the Newport with a rather sterile atmosphere.
The Admiral's Floor at the Newport gives you a few more perks than the standard rooms and may be an option for you. New York is closer to the entrance to Disney Village/parks but only by a matter of minutes.
We choose to stay at the Disneyland now but if I had to stay at another it would be the Newport - the New York just doesn't do it for me
Hope that helps

I've not stayed at the New York but we have stayed at the Newport Bay twice although a good few years ago. We enjoyed both our stays and found the rooms to be comfortable and the hotel to be good for a few nights stay. It was really busy as we were there during the February half term holiday and breakfast was a bit chaotic - one day the hotel staff had to open up a convention room to cope with the overspill. The hotel is large but we hardly spent any time in the room as we were either in the parks or Disney Village.

I asked a friend from UK to book a ticket for us, and she said yes!! So we will get tha 40% off that is valid only for UK customers.
I called DP and asked if there is a problem if the names of the passengers have nothing to do with the adress and the VISA and they said that there is no problem with that.
So I am very happy for that.
DO you know what do they send by post to the adress you give them?
Is there a problem if I never receive those things, since my friend will get them instead of me?
