Shrek is awesome! The best 3D movie I've seen in any of the parks.

If you want to see it you need to arrive early and either get in line straight away or get an express pass. I came out of the movie at 9:30 and all the express passes had gone for the day. The wait was 60 to 90 minutes all day.

Should I watch the movie before I go?

LOL I do own the DVD, just haven't had the time to watch it.

Thanks for that tip Clio! Glad to hear you enjoyed it - I can't wait to see this in August:p

Johnie - I read a review of Shrek 4D that said you might appreciate the attraction more if you have seen the film first. However, the pre-show apparently sets up the story very well. I have the DVD too and I really loved this film - its a shame you haven't had the chance to watch it yet
:)

Thanks Minnie. I will make a point to watch it before I go to Universal in Aug.

I have a notoriously bad habit of buying DVD's and never getting around to watching them. There is never enough time at home.

If you use FOTL access do you miss the pre show?

This is how it worked when I saw it – you stand in line, then the doors open for the pre-show. When the room is full, they close the doors and start the pre-show. After the pre-show they let you in to see the main show and then let the next lot of people in to the pre-show.

I don’t know how FOTL works but I would guess that if you arrive after the pre-show has started you would need to wait until the next one (about 10 minutes I think).
