Just got back from WDW and we wanted to try something a little different. Whilst looking through the coupons we came across an advert for air boat rentals. It is located on the 192 near marker 15 and it is well worth a visit. It was 25$ with the coupon for an hour and they let you loose in an air boat. DH drove it and said it was easy. Took along DD and she loved it. We saw turtles, fish and two gators (one was about four foot long). They do not guarantee that you will see anything because the animals are in their natural habitat but it would be a nice relaxing hour anyway.

Brilliant!!!!!!!
We're going in 3 sleeps from to-day and were wondering what would be different to do. We'll certainly give it a go.:bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

We're going to Orlando this Saturday. Canny wait, is the place your talking about Boggy Creek? We went there last time and thought it was brill or is it somewhere else?
We are staying just off the 192 at Siesta Lago Drive so it seems that the place you describe is quite close by.
TIA

No it was not the one on Bobby Creek Road. We didn't do this one because DD is only four and we didn't know how fast the boats went or how noisy they were? These ones you drove yourself so it was better for us cause we didn't know how DD would re-act? Enjoy your hols and visit this place as it is well worth it.

My sister has asked if we can do this during our trip. We were thinking of the group boggy creek air boats that has a guide. Our own would be better though. Silly question but what if you come across a big gator would it attack the boat? Are you safer with a guide?
