Ugh. They are wicked nasty, messy things. More like a pig trough than a kitchen sink!
But, if you love ice cream in any manner and enjoy multiple toppings and cookies and any number of other sweet bits, this is indeed the dessert for you!
How many folks did you have with you trying to eat that beast britchick? Looks like a pretty good job was done on it!

I saw pics of it recently,,, I love the dish it comes in :lol. Doesn't 'Beefeater' have a similar dessert at their restaurents? Looks like something I have to keep at least 10 yards away from :lol

Was this when you were expecting Steven, because when I saw this pic, I was thinking "yeah, I could do that right now" (and it's only 9:30am here;) )
Great pic Britchick, is that you grinning at the dessert's arrival?

Oh god no, Tink would never let me near such stuff. Nah this was just before at a lunch with Adrian, his sister and her boyfriend. We all ordered them for a joke. The waiter sat down and watched us eat them.

I have read about this and we're planning to do Beaches and Cream. It's huge! and I thought the kid's bucket of ice cream we had at Typhoon Lagoon years ago was big!

It was fun to watch them make it, but I have no desire to order one. Too much stuff on there that I wouldn't eat!

Wow, that's an impressive looking sundae. Do they serve it anywhere else besides Beach Club? Or would I have to make a special trip to the resort?

jerm, there is something vaugely similar at Ghirardelli's in Downtown Disney's Marketplace. It is a huge sundae that costs about $20 or so. I don't think there is as many toppings, but it is huge!

Many years ago (more than 20) my sister was working for Baskin Robbins. They had a sundae they called the Matterhorn which had 7 different scoops of ice cream (your choice), plus toppings such as whipped cream, nuts, cherries, fudge, etc. I actually ate one of them but I couldn't begin to do justice to the kitchen sink.

There's a place by us that has a kitchen sink. The cost is $30 and if ONE person can eat the whole thing they refund your money. We've ordered it with 6 people and there was still some left.
Great it's ony 7:45 am here and I now have an ice cream craving

Thanks BritChick, That really isn't too bad for 4 people to split the cost- Ithink we will go to Beaches and Cream for lunch, just not eat a real lunch!
