For our first visit to Florida, me and my girlfriend Ali have booked up to stay at "The Enclave suites." Just off International
drive.
Has anybody ever been there or heard anything about it???

We wanted somewhere within easy reach of all that Florida has to offer and figured that you cant go far wrong with i-drive.
.....Please tell me I'm right!!!!!

I had a group stay there a few years ago and they hated it. They said it was really ran down and were very disappointed with it. Sorry. I never stayed there, but these people are pretty experienced travelers so I would take their comments seriously, but maybe there are some people on this site that can shed some light on their actually experience.

We have stayed at the Enclave 4 times, when you check in if you ask for a refurbished room in block 1 or 2 you should be fine , we have never had a problem and are going again this August. Any questions just ask.

Hi jjdelight.

There is a thread on this site from September 2002 with links to reviews on The Enclave Suites. Bear in mind that it is quite old info. but it might help a little. The thread is called 'Offsite, anybody stayed here or any info?' in the resorts forum. I did a search for Enclave suites and it came up in the results. Good luck.

Well i'm back !!

Enclave suites - Should i stay ? Well i did and NEVER again. Sorry to bring bad news but it must have been cleaner and smelt better at the bottom of a toilet. We had a run down room to start with, then overnight the main water pipe burst. I had to argue to move rooms and was given (if u can believe this) a dirtier room and a nice view of a building site/car park. We was told to move our stuff within 1 hour, this was 4 people, 7 suitcases and extras and included a disabled person. No help was offered with the move. We moved from building 1 to building 2. And yes we went with 'Virgin' and i'm now awaiting a response from them. I'm not a happy person at the moment as it spoilt the holiday for my disabled grandma and although i dont blame Virgin i do blame the Enclave Suites. If you get a chance, Change hotels Or contact me if you want to know more. FVC members dont get any extras as the brochure says !!!

Hiya...

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the Enclave Suites was actually on the TV progamme here in the UK called Holiday From Hel l a couple years back!! So that pretty much says it all about the place!

I remember people were complaining how dirty it was, and also guests were companing that there were lots of call girls and their clients making lots of noise in the middle of the night as they were having seedy parties!

our air conditioning broke down every night while we were there, my boyfriends dad told me I wasn't allowed to phone the front desk and complain. So the problem never got fixed.
