yesterday the 17th of July was Disneylands 48th Birthday!!! :group: :group: Can you believe that people thought it wouldnt last!!! Its a wonder how people could even thnk that!!:birthday: :ears: :birthday: :ears:

Yeah, that was amazing that no one thought it would make it. It's really quite neat how much they've revolutionized the whole entertainment industry.

For some reason I thought DL opened in November... I'm sure I'm mixing that with something else.

PA, did you go? Did they do anything special out there?

Wow 48 yrs old..........can you imagine the party for the 50th year.........now i'd like to see that after making WDW for the 25th party

drats no I didnt go...too busy with school..Im there about 9 hours a day with over an hour driving time in both directions so b the time the weekend comes about Im dead!! but this weekend I am making a turn around trip to Arizona to meet the boyfriends mom (first time and Im in a panic!!) I hope they dont paint Sleeping Beauty's castle pink either GAG!!!

the 25th was good, they had lots of parades and i still have my 25th anivarsary disney dollar, but they dressed the castle as a pink birthday cake which wasnt very good
