Hi there
Can anyone please help us decide what to do at CityWalk.
We're a family of 6 - boy of 5, twin boys of 9 and girl of 13.
Is it pretty similar to Downtown Disney?
Advice would be much appreciated.

Citywalk has a lot of clubs. I think it's more adult orientented. :)
Hope that helps some!

To me, City Walk is Universal's answer to PI (with the exceptions of the movie theater and resturants)
If you looking for more kid-like things I would do DD since you have the legos and fountians and good stuff like that

Citywalk is loud and the emphasis is on drinking. At least in the evening hours. There are shops and places to eat, but not much to do specifically for children. There is a small area that provides some space to play in a fountain.
If you are going to either US or IOA you will have to walk through portions of Citywalk to gain entry to the parks.

. My personal favourite is Magaritaville. It's great food and can be fun for kids, especailly when they have the people on stilts walking around making ballon hats! The volcano is also fun. Personally, I don't think the stores are as good as they are in DD, but it's a fun place to be at night!
edited because PI does not have a movie theatre that's in a different section. g'uh.

Claire,
As the team says, I think it's very adult orientated, apart from the Movieplex near the entrance. Then again, so is PI.
Try Old Town in Kissimmee or Fun Spot on I-Drive

Yes, I agree, the Fun Spot on I Drive is a great place for the family without paying lots and lots of money!
