Here are a few tips for IOA :D -
Use lockers - there are many water rides here and, as far as I can remember, only 'Popeye and Bluto's Bilge Rat Barges' had somewhere on the ride to keep your belongings dry.
If you don't use lockers, bring some waterproofing! For example, use zip lock bags for cameras, use ponchos on the rides, etc.
If you're not one for the roller coasters and you have kids, turn right and go into Seuss Landing. Practically everyone heads for Marvel Superhero Island first so I would imagine this area wouldn’t be very busy.
If you are interested in the more aventurous rides, head for Spiderman first. If you want, you could then get a express pass for it – these run out quickly and I'm sure you will be desperate to go on it again and may miss out later in the day because of long queues!
It is said that to go on Pteranodon Flyers, you must have a child with you. However, soon after opening and soon before closing, you don’t need a child with you to ride this.
Does anyone else have other tips for IOA?

What if you are not one for roller coasters and you DON'T have kids? What is there for someone like ME to do?
I'm really looking forward to hearing more about this park since we've never been...

Personally I think that if you don't like roller coasters IOA isn't the best for you. If you like Splash Mt they have Jurassic Park, which is kinda like that and there is a great show it's called Psedons (sp) Fury. Really great!

Hi,
IOA is just fantastic....there are great shops..I like the christmas/sweet shop.
As I recall there are lockers at the Hulk which allows you about an hour free...and I think they are dotted all around the park.
You will enjoy Spiderman..its not a coaster...more of an interactive 3D ride/movie.It has loads of special effects...a bit of spinning...kind of like buzz lightyear...but not very fast, and no loops etc. I HIGHLY recommend you try it...you will NEVER have seen anything like it
Ripsaw Falls are good too...I think its Rocky and Bullwinkle based..its a log flume.
As for tips as Ive gone a bit off tangent....
use the lockers while their free.....always take a change of underwear/shorts cos the water rides you get SOAKED...in the wettest sense of the word.
If you are riding the fire/ice dragon roller coaster you dont have to come right back out again if youve ridden one or other...there is a reentry door.
Good photo ops in Seuss Landings...look out for the motorbike cop...sit in his trailer/sidecar
All in all a great park that you can enjoy without kids, or riding coasters...but go on get on those coasters girl!
PS You MUST MUST MUST go on Spiderman...its not a coaster and is just A.. M.. A.. Z.. I.. N.. G

Spiderman is awesome, you must try to go on it early in the day though, the line gets long in the afternoon. If you are brave enough you could also go on Dr Doom's Fear Fall. Dudley Do Rights Rip Saw Falls, and Popeye's are fun. There is a Sinbad show, which is alright, a good way to get in some shade! Seuss Island is fun as well. There is a new ride, Storm Force, that is just like the Teacups. I think that there is enough to do here, but it is mainly for rollercoaster fans!
I would advise coaster fans to make a beeline for The Hulk because, it gets a long lineup really quickly!

WDWGrandma -
I agree with ForeverDucky - if you're not interested in the roller coasters then maybe IOA isn't the best park to visit.
I love the atmosphere of this park though. The different areas in the park are all really unique and very well themed:) I think you'd enjoy seeing all the different islands in the park such as 'Jurassic Park' and 'Toon Lagoon'.
In the 'Lost Continent', there is a restaurant called 'Mythos' which I am desperate to visit!
If you wanted to go to this park, then the best attractions to see would probably be Poseidon's Fury and Sinbad. These are both really entertaining shows.
Would you go on Spiderman? This is a 3D simulator on a track (if that makes any sense:rolleyes: ) - I think a lot of people find this ride to be one of their favourites at IOA.
Maybe you could get a multi-day ticket and spend part of the day at Universal Studios if you find that there's not enough to do at IOA?
