It seems that DLP have cut their exclusivety ties with American Express and all priviledges (including discounts) have now passed to other companies ........ including Barclays :bounce: :bounce:

When we gave our credit card number to book our New Year jaunt, the Lady knew we were Barclays Platinum customers (presumably by the card number?) and told us we would get discounts on rooms and in shops/restaurants etc. They are sending us a booklet with our booking confirmation. I will let you know who else can benefit and of course by how much when it arrives. :D

Seems this is for 'Visa' holders who have booked with their card. Does not apply to room discounts but is valid for discounts in shops and restaurants. Will update as I get more news :)

Paula, that is tremendous news! They severed their US ties, too, and joined in partnership with Disney. It's been a source of contention for foreigners that there is no overseas Disney Visa, but it sounds like there is movement in that direction at least!

Can you let us know as soon as you find out? Thanks a bunch!!
