Other Central Florida Attractions?

Hi.

My DH and I are planning a trip in early December. We've been to Orlando many times before, so this time we plan to spend 3 to 4 days travelling further afield.

Kennedy Space Center is already on my list, but I need recommendations for other places to visit - e.g. non-theme-park attractions, outlet malls, beach resorts and anything else you can think of.

Our two favorites are Gatorland and Butterfly World. Another huge fun place to go are the flea markets - some of that stuff is just so bizarre, it's entertaining! :D

Alot of folks take boat trips on Lake Apopka or on the St. Johns river. There is also Church Street Station. Mall wise, there is the Oviedo Mall, The Mercado,Winter Park Village and Merrit Island Square near Cocoa beach

Butterfly World is pretty easy to get to from Disney but you're looking at a 2 1/2 - 3 hour drive. its straight down the turnpike though
