I havn't been to the one at IOA but they were setting up for it whilst we were there. It looked great from what I saw. I really wish i could have gone but oh well. Have fun!

I did Horror Nights a few years ago when it was still at US. I will never do it again.... I was so scared. I'm not a big fan of things jumping out at me, or goblins following me with chainsaws (with the chain removed). I did one haunted house and that was it for me. It was dark and foggy, I couldn't see where I was walking... ended up with a sprained ankle because I half stepped on a curb that I couldn't see.

Hey there folks! Just thought I'd add to a potentially GREAT thread!
I went to Halloween Horror Nights for the first time last year, the first time they held it at IOA. At the time, I was 27, and was with a 33 year old buddy. Seriously, we spent EASILY half of the time screaming like 15 year old girls. It's *very* scary! They lower the park lights, and have things jumping out at you from the dark... the haunted houses are phenomenal - they really get your adrenaline rushing! There was even a point toward the end of one where I just bust into a full-blown run screaming in terror, with everyone laughing at me.
But, honestly, I had a *GREAT* time! I hadn't been to a haunted house for about ten years (and that one was real scary), but I figured what the heck, it's all in fun. Like I said, it was a great time, and especially fun to find a park bench somewhere close to a dark area and watch people be scared out of their shoes (literally saw this once!) from being scared.
I'd say it's definitely worth it if ya want a good time!
