I went swimming with manatees at Crystal River in May and it was a true highlight of my holiday. Absolutely amazing. The company I went with were very sensitive to their needs. Find them on birdsunderwater.com

We are also swimming with manatees this October, and we cannot wait. It is really a once in a lifetime oppurtunity, and Discovery Cove is a little out of our price range this trip, maybe next time :D

It is costing us $100 for 2 adults and that includes the 3 hours swim, plus the snorkel, wetsuit and fins hire.
