Shamu Rocks!!!

If you go to Seaworld make sure you go to at least one showing of Shamu - it was FANTASTIC!!! The power of these killer whales and the love their keepers display is a sight to behold. The kids loved the drenching they received in their seats (hubby wasnt quite so amused - tough luck on him!!) and I was enthrawled by the speed they rushed around the water and the height they got when they came out of the water, keeper standing on their snouts. Absolutely the best memory!!! It was only slightly spoilt by the people walking around the show trying to sell unbrellas, towels with Shamu on and various other paraphanalia - talk about pushy.

i hav e seen shamu shows many times in orlando, though this year it was my step kids 1st time and they loved, though we sat in the area were shamu should soak you and we didnt get wet at all, the kids were not happy.........i was though :D :D

I have also seen the shamu show many times the one i saw last year was where the show got cancelled because one of the instructors dropped his whistle and shamu went down looking for it but then wouldnt come out the water, still a great show and well worth a visit for the people that havent been to Seaworld.

'Shamu Rocks America' the night time show was good, saw that a few years back. We skipped SW this time because they still hadn't changed the shows, but will probably go back next year.

Yes, I really enjoyed it too. The best place to film is at the far right (facing the water), in the first row of seats after the walkway. We found that we could keep the camera in one place without having to move it about, and there weren't people moving around in front of is :) And the camera got a great view with no splash :)
