Where do I start?

I got the kissing Mickey and Minnie charm for my Italian charm bracelet along with Belle's rose, the Sorcerer's hat, the pumpkin coach... And a bracelet of nothing but Mickey icon charms...

A Princess tea set, a Cinderella's Castle tree topper, a vintage Mickey statue, a Mickey bag and umbrella, a Minnie night shirt, a Disney Uno game, a fantastic retro Mickey and Minnie Christmas card, a Mickey 75 year snow globe - oh, so much stuff! It is hard to remember it all!

Mickeymac
December 26th, 2003, 02:49
JM, I would love to see that one - know if they've got a Patriots one? I've got a bit of groveling to do... :hehe:

I got the World of Disney salt & pepper shakers, creamer, sugar, and napkin rings (all characters!) plus the platter. DD and I also got the Tinkerbell fiber optic tree topper.

Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, and very excited about the Cinderella Castle for the toontown holiday houses. Oh! And the present from my IL's was the completer pieces from Pooh! I was so excited. :D They look fantastic on our buffet, all lit up.

I gave DH the water globe which you try to flip and roll a Mickey golf ball onto a tee inside. He's still playing with it. He also got goofy pyjamas and something else that I can't remember.

DD *finally* got her Prince Philip to go with her Sleeping Beauty doll she got. THAT was an eleventh hour fine.

DS *begged* for nothing from Disney. He got a lump of coal.

I didn't get anything Disney, but I gave out a few things.

I gave my nephew Greg a Disney transporter truck and some accessories for his bike, which I bought at World Of Disney.

I gave my friend Frank a Donald Duck polo shirt, which I got at Character Corner.

I gave my nephew Matt and cousin Mikey WDW playing cards from WoD (along with portable CD/MP3 players from WalMart).

I gave my niece Alexis a Disney storybook with about 25 or 30 stories in it from classic and modern Disney animated features, all illustrated with pictures from the movies, which I picked up at Island Mercantile in AK. I also gave her a Tinkerbell luggage tag for her backpack, which she liked more than the book. Oh, well, she's only 4.

I gave my friend Chris a set of park maps from my recent trip, and also an 18x24 aerial map of WDW which I made myself and passed out to friends, webmasters, and guidebook authors at MouseFest. I had one left over, so I gave ti to Chris.

Several people got gift cards or other gifts paid for with money left over from my MouseFest trip. Technically, these weren't Disney gifts, but some were paid for with cashed-in DIsney Dollars, so they sort of count.

Santa brought tons of Disney stuff to our room at AKL (appropriate, don’t you think?).

I got a Mickey bag and umbrella and a WDW sweatshirt (it was COLD in FL last weekend). I had also bought two presents for myself before our trip – a Santa Mickey necklace and a Tinker Bell 50 years of Peter Pan watch.

The kids got t-shirts (Pooh, Buzz, and Tinker Bell), PJ’s (Marie, Buzz, and Tinker Bell). The girls got princess porcelain dolls and brush, comb and mirror sets (Jasmine and Tinker Bell). Cole got a Buzz and Zurg radio control race car set and a Mickey Mouse baseball. They each got ornaments for the tree (jasmine & Aladdin, Buzz & Woody, and Tinker Bell). Cole and Reagan each got pins and Hannah got a Tinker Bell light up necklace. And my favorite gift – they each got personalized, original character sketches from the art gallery in MK of (guess who?) Jasmine, Buzz and Tinker Bell.

DH got a Disney trivia book. And in January he’ll get the credit card bill from the trip.wink:

My husband did very well this year. I got:

The postcard shaped fringy pillow from DTD
The castle shaped frame that holds many photo's from DTD
An old WDW book from early 80's
A collection of old WDW buttons that he put in one of those framable "boxes"
The second edition of the WDW Explorer that has AK on it (not much different than 1st edition & was a little disappointed)
An old early 80's VHS tape called WDW Dream or something like that, pretty cool
Spectromagic cd

and I think that's it. It's all I can remember at the moment.

BevW
January 4th, 2005, 15:12
A castle shaped frame! How did I miss that! Could it have been the crowds? All those people blocking my view!

OKWTink
January 4th, 2005, 15:17
Oh my gosh, that frame is gorgeous! I saw it and really, really want it. The frame is shaped like the castle, and the area for putting in photos is a composite style. Too wonderful.

Of course, I'm thinking it would make an excellent gift for the parents of a little six year old, wouldn't it? It would be so neat with photos from his visit! (Course then I'd have to get another one for myself). :D

You know, when I think about it, I received a number of Disney related gifts too! One of my favorites is a hat, scarf and glove set. It is cream with Tinkerbell on the hat and scarf and her wand and stars on the gloves. Too pretty! Oh, and the Tinkerbell flip flops and t-shirt. :D And the Tinkerbell stationary and the magnetic sticky note pad. The Eeyore sheets and Eeyore socks are really neat too! Oh! and the Tinkerbell journal and the castle address book. Goodness! Folks must really think I'm into Disney, huh?

BevW
January 4th, 2005, 15:46
You got some cool stuff there Tink! Tinkerbell flipflops?

OKWTink
January 4th, 2005, 15:51
Yeah! They are wicked cool. One foot has Tinkerbell on it and the other one has a color coordinated design. Keeps me from mixing up my left from my right! :rotfl:

Hey though. You said you were sick. :( Sorry to hear that and hope you are all better now?

BigThunder
January 4th, 2005, 21:36
The castle frame is gorgous & made extremely well. In Disney terms I thought it was a bargain at $25 I believe.

OKWTink
January 4th, 2005, 23:10
I thought so too, Big Thunder! I'm thinking I'd better snap one up before the corporate office shirts realize that there is actually a good value available and raise the price to $300 or something.

Seriously though, I really do think it is fairly priced.
