Fishing?

Staying offsite in Kissimmee May 04. DH wants to go fishing somewhere close to Siesta Lago, off Higway 192. Lake Tohopekaliga looks as if it is nearest. Anhywhere that hires fishing equipment is necessary either lake or sea. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Lake Toho (as it's called by locals) is a very popular place. I don't know for certain, but I'd think the chances of being able to rent what you need might be good. The lake is huge and easy to get to from the Kissimmee area.

You can fish (catch and release) on WDW property too.

Sea fishing will make it necessary for you to get to the coast (either will do). There are any number of little places that charter deep sea fishing excursions for fairly reasonable prices.

I don't know what you'll need to do for the fishing license though.
