I was just talking casually with my daughter, and she told me she would like a disney wedding, and is it still tradition that the brides family pay for the wedding,

Has any one any idea how much this is likely to cost at todays prices, as she is not likely to be getting married in the foreseeable future. I reckon this would be fantastic if she felt the same if and when it happens.

I guess it would also depend on where abouts in WDW you were planning on having the ceremony, mind you that said id still imagine the cost to be  where ever :D

ukwdwnut we were looking into this option for our wedding this December, for a smart intimate wedding with up to 8 guests it starts at around £1,350 thats just for the wedding, if you want accommodation as well it goes up and up and up and also there is the pavillion.

We have been looking into alternatives for the wedding but will definately be honeymooning at Disney!

I think £1350 is quite reasonable, knowing how much people pay for a wedding in this country, you can be looking at over £10,000 sometimes

She's still very young, you have plenty of time. Start putting thoughts in her head of a long engagement ;)

yeah right i will, but 1350 is very reasonable indeed dont mind that at all and yes i know i've plenty of time hopefully. when my brother-in-law got married about 4-5 years ago i think it cost in the region of 10-12,000 way too much i'd rather put it towards the mortgage would'nt you

Good heavens! At that price, tell her to elope and you'll give her the money! Wowie, you could put a down payment on a house, no? (Although, I know your house prices are quite high)!

Keith was married in WDW at the Wedding Chapel at GF. Look for his reports, they are quite comprehensive. December of 2003.

I thought the cost was quite high myself.

house prices are quite high where i live about £220,000-£320,000 for a 3bed semi detached and £250,000-£350,000 for a detached

when the time comes i would definately consider it at those prices
