Has anyone done the Pirate Adventure Dinner?
I'm thinking of doing this vs. the Medival Times. Kids are DH 9 and DS 7, DH is also coming. We're staying at parents timeshare in Kissimmee.
There are really good discount tickets offered through Maple Leaf available.
Thanks.

Well if either of you go before August - please post a a review. Did you do Medieval Times. Kids are 9 & 7 and will be coming with us. I also have to watch the food because they are a bit fussy. DS will eat almost any kind of meat, but I believe DD will soon become a vegetarian.
Thanks.

silly question I am sure but does the Pirates dinner have any horses in it?
I'm allergic to horses :( so many of the dinner shows are out for me unless I'd like to have an asthma attack

I don't believe so. There are fortune tellers, stilt walkers, fire eaters, along with the main pirate story (according to the brochure).

We did both shows last year. The food was pretty much the same at both shows (standard dinner show fare). The Pirates set was fantastic with lots of action and interaction for the kids if they were sitting near the front (got to go up on the ship and be pirates etc.) It was worth paying the little extra for this. The acoustics were not brilliant though and there is quite a lot of dialogue so we kind of lost the plot somewhere along the line! NO HORSES!
Medieval Times was great. Plenty of action again, plenty of audience participation etc. LOTS of horses!
My kids were 9 and 7 when we went. They preferred Pirates, we preferred Medieval Times - take your pick!!

Pirates is pretty fun! If you are a flordia resident, You get a discount! Many people don't know about that one. The food is...ok, It was kinda hard to hear everyone. Lots of people. Free Wine, Not very Good, but as the waitress said "Hey Its Free!" If your not a FL. Resident you can get a discount book at any hotel, with a coupon in it. All the seats are good. But you can pay an extra fee and sit front row center. But it truly doesn't make a diff! You just might get in the show!

I did Pirates afew years ago and although the set was great the food and lead up to the show wasn't that special I can't give a comparison to other dinner shows as I haven't tried any more since I guess Pirates really put us off!!
