We are considering booking Discovery Cove for July, I was just wondering if anyone has had their day spoiled by iclement weather conditions

The weather can be very unpredictable during the summer months as tropical storms are around all the time, but im sure you will be fine to go ahead and book.

We did DC on the 2nd of August last year during a time when every day we saw some amazing storms but they always seem to happen towards the end of the afternoon. Our day at DC was cut short by an hour due to a storm coming but by that time we were tired anyway so we weren't to bothered as we'd been there from 8am! The day certainly wasn't spoilt and we can't wait to do it again!

remember that the thunder storms that are almost daily in the summer generally hit in the afternoon (usually between 3 and 4).

Also, remember that summer storms are usually short.

Iwas a little concerned about booking for June for the same reason, especially as there are NO refunds due to bad weather.
But, as JM and TP say, storms usually hit late afternoon.
If you get to DC for 8am and get a morning slot for the actual dolphin swim, there should be less chance of missing the dolphin swim. (I hope!)
