Just pricing stuff up and too book the Holdiay Inn direct saves a lot of money compared to the DLP hotels in october,,,,,,,so it says on the DLP site that the holiday inn is part of DLP so i was wondering if its walkable from the Train Station at DLP

If I remember, its not. We were thinking of going there this Easter but it said the three new hotels (inc Holiday Inn) were within driving distance of DLP.....I could be wrong though......

Just looked on the website
http://www.disneylandparis.com/uk/hotels/holiday_inn/services.htm
and it says
"Free shuttle bus to Disney Parks
This hotel is approximately a 10-minute free shuttle ride from Disney Parks. "

Now, that was the same for us at Newport Bay, and we were def within walking distance of the train station at the Village. But then, if worst came to worst, perhaps you could get the free shuttle bus from the park (which is next to the Village) and get to your hotel that way?

The new hotels are not DLP hotels (bit like Swan & Dolphin in WDW). There is transport from hotel to bus station which is behind the train station and then just a couple of minutes walk to both park entrances.

Be careful tho' as buses are not same as Disney transportation - friend stayed at this hotel last summer (chosen because can sleep more guests than the Disney Hotels) and in the evening had to leave before the late firework display to catch last bus back.

You will also miss out on the Disney theming/atmosphere in these hotels which is all part of the magic so would recommend staying at one of the DLP hotels if you possibly can.

Red ~ I've got the DLP direct brochure here and it's actually cheaper to stay at The Santa Fe or The Cheyenne than the Holiday Inn. For £20 per adult more than the price of the HI, you can stay at The Sequoia Lodge, which is really nice. It sits on the lake and is an easy walk through Disney Village to the parks. (based on weekends in Oct)

have checked the price direct with the Holiday inn and its only £50 per night, so its a lot cheaper than disney are quoting me for Oct for there hotels........santa fe came in at nearl £700 for 4 days.......i think i will look more into it, but 10 mins on the bus aint bad and for the sake of saving a few hundred pounds i dont mind not having a disnet themed hotel

Fair enough ~ that's a big saving  It looks a nice hotel and is themed to the circus. Are you going to the new Man U training school while you're there?

Bwahahahahaaaaaaaaaa :rotfl:

Does anyone know how long it would take to walk ?

On our trip last summer (Sequoia Lodge - didn't like it) we used to enjoy the walk to and from the parks.

I'm definatly thinking of booking The Holiday Inn or The Explorers.
They are both new and so should be nice.
I found the rooms in The Sequoia to be really shabby.
We asked to be moved from the first one ,and the second one they gave us wasn't much better. There was graffiti all over the walls in the corridor, and a bad smell. I'd never stay there again.
