We are possibly going to Portugal this year to visit in-laws. Figured we'd make a pit stop in DLP for 4 or 5 nights but not sure of our dates yet. Wondering how fast rooms book up during July/August and how far in advance do we need to book?
Also for all you experts, where should we stay? Yes we are on a budget and as much as I'd love the Disneyland Hotel "it ain't gonna happen":( We'd like to pay under US$1000.00 for hotel and tickets. Is this doable?
Thanks for any and all advice!! Daisy

Hi Daisy and :welcome: to the boards!
DLP is busiest during August as the French have the whole of August of for annual holidays. I have never been to DLP during the summer, but we did go for New Year and all the hotels were full and the parks were very busy, but we had a great time despite the crowds.
You can fill the 'get a quote' form in online and they will email it to you with no pressure. Looking at the DLP direct brochure, to stay onsight at the Hotel Cheyenne in July or August, you would be looking at £350 (Approx $600) per adult for 4 nights or £273 (approx $470) for 3 nights. That price includes tickets and breakfast. This should give you some idea.

Thank-you for the reply and welcome :)
So should we try and go in July instead of August, do you think it will be less busy or should we just take our chances?
I see if we book movenpick castle from their website they have a special rate for month of July. Hmmmm but then I assume tickets are extr*****, do you know of this hotel?
Thanks once again..really appreciate the help!

the movenpick probably wont include tickets, like the holiday inn......i can say i have priced the holiday inn direct and its cheaper than online quotes, but remember these hotels are off site and will include free transfers to DLP

The Movenpick isn't quite finished yet, but will be up and running by the Summer, Daisy!
Although DLP is still going to be busy in the summer months try to book a stay during the week. The weekends are super dupa busy!!
