Hi Everyone
Well we finally booked the final leg of the France-part of our European trip. We'll be staying in a mobile home/caravan site for 4 nights from 18-22 July. I know some of you will probably think me mad for booking in the middle of the busiest time of the year but it was the only possible week.
I need some ideas as to where we should start in the parks to get the most out of our time there - I don't think we want to spend every day in the parks as we'd like to take the kids to Paris as well.
What do any of you recommend for kids of 13, 9 and 7.
thanks,
Jackie

Hi Jackie!
I'm sure you'll have a fantastic time. We went at New Year and I was completely shocked by the crowds, I thought everyone would have visited for Christmas then left  WRONG!! Anyway, it was fantastic!! We had to queue, sometimes for an hour, but you can get loads done at ropedrop. Run straight to the big rides, like IndianaJones and get a Fast Pass for Big thunder mountain on the way. Then head straight back to Phantom Manor as all those rides are Packed out in the afternoon! On another morning, run the other way onto space mountain! If someone isn't riding Space Mountain, send them for FP's at Star Tours. Peter Pan (which always has large regular queues) also has a FP. The rides like Snow White and Pinnochio are pretty steady all day and can be done at leisure. In the studios, you need to head straight for RnRC first, as that gets mega busy!
Fast food isn't great at DLP. The sit down restaurants do a 3 course meal for around 20 euros or so and 10 euros for kids including a drink. We found we were glad of a break from the crowds and a sit down for an hour, but you must booka table as soon as you get can in the morning, they get full and not many walk-ins are available!
Annette's diner in Disney Village is great fun, the kids meals are served on illuminous frisbies which they get to keep. The staff sing and dance and you are expected to clap during grease lightning  Food is very nice and relatively cheap. My kids love the cheese toasties and fries :D
TTFN!

Thanks Paula for that. One question - do all the tickets in the party have to be printed for Fast Pass or is one enough? Probably a bit of a stupid question but anyway.
Thanks

Hi Jackie ~ there's no such thing as a stupid question :) Yes, you will need a ticket for each Fast Pass you want. What we do is while me and DD (7) are on the gairy rides, DH will take our younger DD (3) and walk over to a FP attraction with our tickets. usually, by the time we've come off one ride, the FP is valid to go on the next ride. Works well if you have a person in the group who doesn't like the gairy rides :gairy:

thanks Paula
OK try this one...
we're going to be staying there for 3 days - is that too much/too little time to do it all?

I think that's just right. A day in each park and a day to go back and do what you missed :D We usually leave Disney Village for an evening, but it's very quiet in the daytime if you need a break from the crowds.
