i ordered a DLP broucher last week and it turned up today, lucky the twins were out with there dad and then off to a bowling party........get in to read it with angela and we decide on doing Buffalo Bills one night and then the RFC the next night...........as we are staying in the Holiday Inn it looks a really nice hotel and rated at 4stars, glad i booked it direct after comparing the price's disney wanted to charge.........kids come home so i hide the brouchere and wander out to watch the football on TV........now my plan (note my plan) is to tell the kids on there birthday in September......i mean i am bouncing never mind the twins.........anyhow at 9:15 angela phones me and asks when i am coming home.........as the football is still on i say about 10:30 as i wanted to watch the other game..........at 10pm angela texts me with a confession.........she has told the kids that apart from there easter eggs they are getting another present...........i cant belive it, she is the person who wasnt bothered about going to WDW last year, but here we are going to DLP and she cant keep a secret...........so i get in from the pub and the twins want to know what there other special present is........so i tell them there going to see Mickey in Paris..........well there still up now looking at the DLP brouchere, asking how long the flight will take, how will people understand us in France..........guess i converted angela into a disney addict :D

 Good for you redkop! Converting your Angela is a wonderful thing! I'll bet the twins are over the top with excitement. You'll get no rest now, until it's time to go!

Ah well, you'll survive their enthusiasm. Have a great Easter!

I did a secret booking for DH to DLP. If I remember right I did it about 6 months in advance. I had to make sure we both had the time booked off work (so all his work knew!) and all he tickets etc was sent to my friends house.

There was only one disaster. I went to a travel agent and said under no circumstaces should they phone me (for obvious reasons), and they did, and left a message on the answer phone. I managed to bluff that one - wrong number said I! I wrote quite a snotty letter to the travel agent involved. They were very apologetic, and to prove it, sent me a massive bunch of flowers. Lovely, but how could I explain that to DH? I was at college at the time and was working part time at an electrical store.....I said they were from a satisfied customer.

The lesson here? I will never book a suprise again :)

I think that's great Red! No more stressing about keeping a secret. Oh well. But it's great to know they're all excited!
you'll all have such a great time! And I can't wait to hear about it. I've never been to DLP!!
