Hiya, does anyone know if Virgin still organise an excursion to St. Augustine?
It is one of my favourite places to visit but we are staying on-site without a car. I don't think hubby would want to pay the taxi fare that far!!

Perhaps you could rent a car for a one or two day trip?

Yes, I think that is probably a good solution. We were thinking of going to the Warbird Museum too and, of course, shopping. So it should work out cheaper to hire a car for 2 or 3 days.

:) Thanks, Eddie. Disappointing but at least I can plan for it in advance.

Even staying on site you would be better off having a car, unless you are going to spend every hour at WDW

As Hubby works very hard all year he likes to have two weeks of relaxation, without driving etc., so usually he prefers to stay mostly on-site. He deserves the rest, bless him. :)

We're the same.... even if a car does give more flexibility, we just don't want the hassle of driving and we get along just fine with the WDW busses, taxis and the odd tour from www.gatortours.com (who I keep mentioning but have no association with I promise :)

Actually gatortours do the everglades experience and so on which really get you far from disney and if you're looking for a difference experience, they're excellent value.

Thanks, Keith. Hadn't heard of Gatortours, will check them out.
