One in the same, the Chophouse. Pricey too.

I like Bruno's Italian. Very authentic, great food, good atmosphere, low prices (most expensive items are less than $15). They have a big wine and imported beer list, too.

We went to the Olive Garden on International Drive - the pizza was lovely there, and it had a very nice atmosphere. It was a good chance for us to get a bit more dressed up and have a nice evening out.

Hi Minnie-
Olive Garden is my wife's favorite, but it is a chain, and there is one at home. But you are right, it's a nice place with good food.

You know Minnie_M, I forget about the Olive Garden on I-Drive. It is a chain, jimfortk, but this particular restaurant is quite lovely. It's a replica of the original in Tuscany (who knew there was an original!) right down to the curtains in the windows. It's the largest in the area. I've not eaten in there in about two years, but last time I did, it was much better than any other Olive Garden I've ever eaten in.

Well worth a visit if you want a goodly portion of nicely cooked pasta without having to mortgage the house. :)

The other Italian chain I like is the Macaroni Grill. There is one at Crossroads I think.

I'd love to eat at either one right now!!!

I like the Macaroni Grill also, Renae. Especially that nice hot bread that you dip in olive oil! I also love one of their salads - the one with tomatoes, fresh basil, and mozzarella cheese! YUM!!!

After reading this "yummy" thread I will be going to the Olive Garden this weekend. I don't care too much for Macaroni Grill maybe I ordered the wrong dish but it wasn't anything special.

Jim whenever I eat a breadstick now I always think about you and your dw  I still agree with you pc and bs are the same :)

Sorry, dear! That bread is SOOOOO good! And it is just about the only bread I eat when I'm out. I used to like the breadsticks at Olive Gardens, but lately they've been too tough and chewy, or too hard and crusty. So they just sit there.
