Villains Pins??

:) Hiya,
Can anyone tell me the best place, on or off-site, to buy Villains pins?
It may have changed since my last visit but I spent hours, unsuccessfully, trying to track down a nice pin of the Queen. Even the CMs didn't know where I could get one.:( In the end I bought a framed set, which is lovely.
I know they are available on Ebay but it's not the same as buying them while on hols. :sun:

Tsk,tsk...wdwgrandma.....:rolleyes: . On the subject of pins - if it's good etiquette to be ready to swap any pin on show how can I wear my favourite pins and not appear rude when refusing to swap? :confused: *D*

When you trade with a CM, you choose the pin you are willing to trade. If you intend to trade with guests, it's a one-for-one trade. They choose from your lanyard and you choose from theirs. If you have no intention of trading at all, simply smile and politely tell the person wanting to trade that you just can't give any of yours up!

The last time I had a few ordinary ones as well so I'll probably do that again. That's if I'm not banned by Hubby this time..:blush: ......he really can't understand the attraction of pins. I confess I did drive him mad last visit with my relentless pursuit of a Queen pin :hehe: .

I know this won't help you in the UK but I just got back from the Disney Catalog Outlet in Branson Mo and they had quite a few Villain pins. They had them for about $5 each and all their pins were 25% off. They had a box of Monsters Inc pins that were $2 each so the rang up $1.50 each. They would only let each person have six pins. There were four of us so we got 24 pins and we went back 4 times. I hated to look Greedy but Just think of all the fun we're gonna have trying to trade 96 pins on our next trip.

Try E-bay. We bought some of our DD villians pins there. Epcots pin station also has alot of pins. Also you can call Disney and but direct from them if you know the catalog number. Or try a site on the web Disneypins.com. or Dispins.com. I think one of them is right. mcduck

Hiya, PA, I don't think Hubby will pay for a trip to DL just for pins....:)

I don't want to buy pins via 'net as I like the fun of actually finding one that you really want on sale somewhere. :thumbs:
I guess I'll just have to trek round all the pin stations whilst I am there :shrug: .

There was a nice Villains pin for "Villantine's Day." It was a composite of many of the villains. Don't know if there are any left, but you could have a look. There is a big pin center in the middle of Future World. They seem to do quite a business. You could check there.

The villains store didnt have any different pins when we were there on 27th Jan 05, but you could try! Try Scoop Sanderson (he does a pin talk sunday through wednesday at one pm in Exposition hall at MK) or trade with cast members. Try downtown disney but beware of the traders who stand with their books outside the pin station there...they will try to con you out of a pin you like! I know one of them did....I stupidly gave him two of my Jasmine Pins!

The Belz factory outlet mall has cheap pins u might be able to get a queen...
