I booked this for 2 mornings during our trip. Has anyone done this before? Did you enjoy it. I understand that you have to take the train to Fantasyland. So everyone has to go one hour before the park opens, other wise you can't do this correct? :ears:
Thanks, can't wait until we are at DLP. :)

Hello MauiMouse. As far as I remember, the Fantasyland Breakfasts are just your usual breakfast you get at the hotel each morning but served in one of the restaurants in Fantasyland. It was nice to be in the magic early but it still didnt mean we got on rides as nothing opened until the official park opening times. Because they have a rope drop way of letting everyone into the 'lands' youre no better off than everyone else when it comes to being first in a queue but we all still felt 'posh' because we got to go in through the gates before a lot of other people. We were told what time to go by the hotel and I do believe it was an hour before opening. On one of our days it was extra hour opening so a lot of people filed through the gates but Fantasyland was only open (restaurant and one shop) to those having breakfast and showing their ticket/voucher. Hope you enjoy DLP. Sequoia is a fav. of ours, esp. Montana rooms located in main building. You will feel at home as its based on hunting retreats found in the National Parks of USA. Mind you, Hunters Grill tok a bit of getting used to - a sort of meat feast on a pole (one choice for all).

It is really fun, but the breakfast is like the one you'll get in Sequoia lodge and in Newportbay.

take my advice if you want a really special breakfast go to "walts", we had the most fantastic time there the characters were hilarious and played with the children for ages, we were brought delicious breakfasts and endless jugs of hot chocolate (we did go in jan!) and most of all its a beautifull restaurant with lots of interesting walt disney origionals, it really made our trip, my in-laws still havent stopped talking about it. this is probably not helpfull but you cant miss out!

Every post you make is helpful Ruby :)
I haven't been to Walts for the breakfast, but we had lunch there one afternoon and it was pretty good.
Roll on Monday.......:mexwave:

The time before last that we went to DLP we opted for this breakfast. I think we arrived at the park in good time to eat and get on Peter Pan at ropedrop. We didn't make it onto the first train out of the Main St station and had to wait around 30 minutes (at least) for the next one to turn up. We then had to sit on the train for ages before it left. It wasn't possible to walk to Fantasyland so we were stuck.
By the time we got to eat it was almost time for rope drop and whilst we managed to get on my son's favourite rides without queuing for too long it really spoilt our day.:(
Unless you can walk to Fantasyland or anyone can confirm that they have speeded up things I would not recommend this to anyone.
