Been before and have used the DLP brochure,
We are wanting to go via Eurostar, on the 23 December - 27 December ( Christmas !)
In the Disneyland Hotel.

you could try booking direct on the DLP web site as they will give you an online quote, i am going to DLP in october but staying at the Holiday Inn, i found that cheaper to book through the Holiday Inn than disney

Have just been to hotel cheyenne DLP and we booked via holidaybank on 01226 230659 (also called sundeal ). The price although still hefty was almost £300 cheaper than DLP direct brochure. We didnt get anything less either (as the DLP direct gentlemen tried to infer) We went with eurostar direct and paid for our luggage to be on DLP express on way home which cost under 5 euros per bag. We even got a free upgrade to castle club (saving about £90). We are booking again with them for November this year as theyve given me another good price well below any others ive got so far. I agree with Redkop though, you can save money if you stay off site. Good luck!

When I enquired about prices with Eurostar I did ask them about free upgrades but they said they didnt need to to this as their seats are always in demand! (snobby but prob. true!!) He said they do lower prices sometimes in first class but only at the last minute if they do not sell in normal market - they would prefer a standard priced bottom in first class rather than an empty seat. Some companies may offer free or cheaper upgrades at certain times of the year or for their last minute bargins but youd have to ring around to enquire. Ive booked mine now with holidaybank and got the 3 for 2 deal but no cheap upgrade (cost £35 more per adult and £20 per child for midweek in november). A lot of companies are doing 3 for 2 and 4 for 3 with certain restrictions so as I said, try ringing round or get on the net. Dont know about free upgrades in hotels, once again only those shown in brochures (ie Leger holidays do special deals via coach, air and Eurostar but they are only at certain times).

There are no discounts at all throughout the Christmas period. We stayed in the Castle Club last New Year and the whole resort was fully booked, every single room.
Even the shareholders club only offer a 5% discount in peak season.
The only way to get an upgrade is like Windbag said, to go during one of the official upgrade weeks. You pay for one level hotel and they upgrade you to the next one. These are only offered during low seson though. Same goes for the 3 nights for 2 or 4 nights for 3. They are always during school time and don't apply to wekend visits.

The perks of Castle Club are private brekky room, private lift straight down to the turnstiles, very quiet floors, concierge desks that will change your currency, book your tables etc, free soft drinks/tea/coffee in the CC lounge throughout your stay along with afternoon tea. Probably the best perk of all is the VIP fastpass. It is good from 11.00am until 2 hours before park closing and gets you in the FP queues without having to keep getting tickets and waiting for your time slot. We used it a lot at New Year when the queues were long. There aren't many rides that have FP, but we made use of the ones that did.
The pressie was a Mickey and Minnie all gift wrapped in their Christmas outfits and a large box of handmade choccies. I have photos somewhere, will try to find the link.
We arrived just after Christmas, there were no decs in the rooms, but the hotel has trees and the lounge was decorated with loads of helium baloons for New Years eve as were the restaurants. We had a live band on NYE and a gala dinner. We always have an amazing time in the CC. We've been back less than a week and I *need* to get back soon - i'm having withdrawal symptoms!
