Hurricanes night club

(sorry if this is in the wrong place or has been mentioned before)
but i'm going with some mates to Disney in the summer (can't wait!!) & i just wanted some information on Hurricanes,is it any good?
&
Me & my friends are all 17 but a few of us look about 18-19,would we get asked for i-d if we don't have a proper adult with us?

Though I haven't been in Hurricanes (always have the kids!) they are strict on ID and you will be searched when you enter Disney Village for alcohol etc.

I'm pretty sure the legal drinking age in France is 16 though :)

I think the legal drinking age in France is same as here - 18 in bars and clubs but 16 if ordering with a meal (not many people know that) But unlike the UK the french are stricter on alcohol in that they don't tolerate drunkeness as much and it is less easy to get away with it under age in bars and clubs. So I wouldn't count on getting in. Also every other country has ID cards so if bar/club staff have even the slightest suspicion that someone may be underage it is very easy for them to check age, asking for the ID card.

Whilst on the subject did you know that in the UK it is perfectly legal to drink alcohol in a pub garden (but not in the bar area of course), restaurant, and of course in private from the age of 5. You cant buy it of course but if you are with adults/parents, it is perfectly legal for them to buy for you to drink in the above areas!!! Its a very little known aspect of alocohol law that may go to an extent when deregulation of licensing hours to 24 hours comes in next year
