Myself, wife and 3 yeard old have booked to go in a couple of weeks staying in a 2 bedroom cabin.
Reason we chose it was for the extra space, also our daughter is a fussy eater and we can prepare what she likes.
However I read some reviews today which were very negative eg One person described the "Log Cabins" as small uncomfortable caravans.
I would be really grateful for feedback (positive or negative) from anybody who has stayed at the Ranch, then if necessary we could change Hotels before it's too late,
Thanks

I haven't stayed at the DCR sorry. I'm sure someone will come along who has though. A friend of mine stayed there about 4 or 5 years ago because there were 5 of them and no alternative at the time. They loved the pool, but they did say it was much further away than they expected and wish they could have been able to stay onsite. There are plenty of kids foods available throughout DLP and all the hotels have kids menus which include things like cheese toasties/burgers/hot dogs/nuggets.

i stayed there when it 1st opened back in 92, the pool is fantastic and the best pool at DLP, the cabins were very nice and clean, and the BBQ dinner was great of a night as well, when i stayed they had the buses to transport you to the park but they were really over crowded of a night, so its probably better that you drive your self there, dont forget you will get free parking at DLP, and i think in the summer its nice to be away in the countryside

No transport is provided to DLP from DCR now so you have to drive yourself. Haven't stayed there myself but apart from the distance from DLP I've only ever heard good things about it.

We stayed there once about 4 years ago. The cabins are plenty big enough - we went during a cold spell and the cabins were very cosy. Our room had a double bed and bunk beds and a pull down double bed in the lounge. It was nice not to have to go to bed at the same time as our son as we normally do when staying in hotels!!
The lounge was relatively comfy. We didn't manage to get to the pool but I'd agree that it is the best one visually.
At the entrance to each 'loop' there is a hut where you go to collect your breakfast from - this was quite good and prevented long walks to the main eating area.
Hope this helps.
