I have just tried to change and save my signature in the BASIC EDIT MODE and I can't get it to save.

What am I doing wrong??

I am having the same problem, I regularly change my sig strip, but I can't get it to change now :afraid: also seam to have lost the additional smilies link

for the smilies, just click MORE on the bottom of the smilies box, and then click on the box up at the top where you can go for more smilies. They're in sections, then glick GO.

As for the signature, I can't help there. Sorry.

Thanks Bev :woohoo: as you can see I followed you instructions and found the extra smilies :micbounce

Joanne posted something earlier about combining all the smilies, and it took me a bit to find them, but I did. Glad you found them. the posts don't seem as perky without them.

Wendy-
The problem I see is not with your signature, its with your avatar. Its the same as Mike's and when you post back to back I have to look close to see who I'm reading. I wouldn't want to get you two confused.

I am also having a hard time with my signature. I can't seem to save it either. What am I doing wrong?

I've been trying to change my signature...well adding to it, and it won't save. Must be totally user error..but I've never had a problem before.

I give up, been working on this for over an hour, and no results. Maybe I've filled up my space...

I have been trying over the last 24hours  trying to change it because flight tickets have now arrived, I think there must be something wrong with the site, hopefully someone (much cleverer than I) will sort it out soon

The site is having technical problems with the signatures and pets. Please bear with us while the tech gurus work out the issue

Good to hear, JM. With my computer having just crashed (and subsequently having its hard drive completely lost), I was sure there was something else wrong on my end. Good luck with the fix!

Hey it looks like this problem is catching either that or I don't know what I'm doing, Yep I know I'm relatively new here but have follwed all the instructions regarding basic editor mode and still can't get a sig to save. someone please help I feel left out here!!!!
The thing I have noticed is that if you use the spell check prior to trying to save the sig it is showing a runtime error code asking if you want to debug! anyone else getting this error?

Hang on in there guys!!! We're working on it!!!
Well not me, that'd be disasterous, but it's being looked into!
As soon as there's news we'll let you know!

If the worst comes to the worst I'll issue everyone with a Calendar and a felt pen and we can mark the days off manually!!!
I draw the line at giving everyone a real pet though!!

 WQ! I can just see us all now looking woefully at our calendars, then at our watches, holding our big, fat, felt tip pens waiting for the clock to click over to the next day. I'm so glad there are people like me out there!

Joanne just did some magic with the software so the "save" option on the User CP settings should now be working again. (If it is still not working for someone, please let us know. :))

What are you trying to have it say? Give someone time to come in a respond - no need to post 4 times in 5 minutes :)
