I use Tomtom in the UK and would love a US map for FLorida to help with the navigation, it a stunning programme if you have a pocket PC. Shame is the only way to get the US map is to buy the whole darn thing, I already own the program, and dont want a second copy as well as 50 states I won't visit.

Any kind soul able to help?

Hi Midnight Storm and welcome to the boards. Just letting you know your post has been edited to change the mild epithet in the original, to one even less objectionable. We have many folks who allow their children to read these boards and have to keep that in mind. Thanks for understanding.

Now, surely wish I could help with your question, but that will have to wait for someone more knowledgeable to come along!

Hi, I am considering buying a Tomtom myself for our trip in May. The following link should take you to the Tomtom website, where you can purchase downloadable maps for individual cities. The price seems to be 4.95 euros (approx £3.41).

As we are flying into Sanford Airport and staying in the Kissimmie area, I have contacted Tomtom for information on exactly which map/s we will require.
Not very helpful so far, as instead of giving the correct/accurate information, they have replied :-

"Perhaps the best option for you to purchase, and to minimise the cost, would be our downloadable Map of US - Southeast Region. This is available from our website for 59,95 euros (approximately GBP41.31)"

Yeah...best option for who??

Anyway here's the link.

My husband has just got the USA maps for TomTom navigator 5 for our next WDW trip. He also has MS Streets and Trips. Is it for TomTom Go or a PDA/Smartphone?

It was the PDA version I was after, I may have it now, just need to try it. Tomtom only sell individual cities, fine for New York, but not for the tourist zone that is southern Orlando and its districts. The other choice is half of the US, bit pricey for a holiday map.

Is it just me or is Tomtom GO overpriced for the US, the UK version is half the price, does anyone need the whole US map? you would think they would sell individual states pre loaded.
