I am getting a bit fed up of the same character meals and would like to see some new ones. These are a few of my ideas. Which would you like to dine with?

I so agree!
O'Hana should have Lilo and Stitch.
MGM really needs a character meal. They could have all the male characters: Peter Pan, Alladin, Tarzan.....of course, this would be for little boys :hehe:

i think a group of characters which is popular with both boys and girls (and parents :D ) such as the Jungle Book, Toystory, Aladdin or Robin Hood....ok i want a RH character meal :p
Might be an idea to have one that changes every so often when Disney releases a new movie.
I like the idea of a villans one also, we have the Princess breakfast and CRT which are more geared towards girls and i think it would maybe balance the bokks to have one that would prove popular with the boys :)

Another vote for Wizard of Oz ! I have to watch the colourised dvd of that I got ages ago! Fave film.
Wouldn't go for the villains though... I had a very nasty run in with Cruella which I was coping with until she went after my camera after I took a photo of her. <shudder> I still have nightmares!

Definately something for the boys, with perhaps minor Villains (not so scary ones)
I personally would go for a full blown Villain one!

I've voted for Villains too. Missed doing the old Villain dinner at 1900PF and have waited eagerly for it to return.

How about "storybook heroes" an antidote to PSB with, Hercules. Aladdin, Peter Pan, Buzz etc...
Or "Disney storybook couples", with Cinderella and charming, belle and beast, peter and tink, meg and hercules, and of course mickey and minnie.
if my 5 yr old were chosing it`d be a Monsters Inc dinner!!!

I'd have to agree, the villians idea would be excellent. I think it would also be cool if there was a character meal that every day would feature characters from different movies, so one day Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and the wicked stepmother would be around, the next have Aladdin, Jasmine, Genie, the Sutan, and Jafar. Another day there would be Belle, the Beast, Clockworth, Lumiere, Gaston. Oh it would be really cool. And they could cater to certain food that the characters would eat... I'm heading to the Imagineering boards next...

How about a Star Wars character meal during Star Wars Weekends? A Lord of the Rings character meal would be a big hit with my kids.

oooo I like that idea! It would be so wicked. Lord of the Rings... We'd also have to have a Harry Potter one to complete the fandom

As an adult (you could argue that with Mrs. SM :D ) I would like to see the Disney Villains, but knowing that the main audience would be kids, I doubt that this would be possible.

At disney, nothing is impossible. And, after all, the villians are in the park so it could happen

How about a Disney Mystery who dunnit with Disney villains, for the "grown-ups" with a room adjacent for the kids to have their own separate dinner. Maybe have apple pie for dessert?!?!?served by the evil queen????
she's my favorite villain!!! I'm on a mission to find her at WDW... so where does she usually hang out?!?!?

Wizard of Oz would be awesome but is it Disney? I know Return to Oz was but i've seen Wizard of Oz merch in the Warner Bros store so not sure about the first one.

I would love a lunch/dinner with the Muppets - probably best location would be MGM. I know some of the characters would have to be on a stage/set or something but I'm sure Disney magic could make it possible.
You could even have some at the welcome desk like the Count to count your party and then Grouch somewhere near a bin for 'leftovers', Big Bird could wander round, you could have the grumpy old men at a table complaining about the food, Cookie Monster could be 'attached' to a desert trolley. Other characters could be set around the restaurant.
And best of all you could have an interactive Elmo!!!!

I would love to see anything different...I'm really surprised they haven't done Toy Story since it is so incredibly popular.
I, too, missed out on the old Villians dinner and would love to see that come back.
Wizard of Oz would be awesome, as would Storybook couples as it is so difficult to meet them together.
Or there could be an "Obscure Character Breakfast" with creatures such as Darkwing Duck, Max (Goofy's son), Frollo, etc... :hehe:
I want to meet Jiminy Crickett, darnit!!!
