Need help please! Now, this wedding of ours is going to cost us a fortune (it'll be worth all the money i'm sure!) but, I am now quite interested in the wedding which Virgin offer for the Wyndham Palace Resort and Spa - and for half the price! I have looked at their website and I can't find any pictures of where the ceremony will take place. Does anybody out there have any photo's of the Gazebo, or has anybody stayed at this hotel and seen where it will happen - I reeeeeeeally need your help on this one as i'm so confused about what to do!!!

I'm a big fan of the Wyndham palace to stay I really enjoyed it... I'm not sure I'd have a wedding there though.
When I was there, they had a wedding a reception in a little courtyard at the back of the hotel which looked quite nice actually but the wedding was at a little gazebo out by the lake and I wasn't that impressed.
I think if I were trying to save money over Disney (and my first choice would be Disney! I loved it!) would be the Virgin Cypress grove wedding package which just looks really wonderful to me.
The Wyndham is kinda surrounded by roads and I think it would feel a bit like a wedding in "any hotel anywhere" if you know what I mean.

This is exactly why I needed help on the matter! I found the official website for the hotel but I couldn't find anything on there about the wedding location - which makes me a bit wary about changing everything. Part of me wants to stay with Disney, but the other part of me thinks if I can save £1500 then that can go towards the other things (other things which I have booked that my other half doesn't know about!!!).
I'll keep looking for information - but your help and comments are very much appreciated!

I think..... money will be replaced but your wedding is a one off (hopefully) special day so I say go for it so you don't have any regrets.
I know at the time I felt it was a lot of money, but I don't care about the money now, it's spent, re-earned etc ;-) but I have all the memories/photos etc

Ooo Kate, I'd stick with Disney. It's a once in a lifetime event that you want to be as special as possible. If you'd already decided on Disney, you may regret it if you change and it doesn't work out as well as you'd hoped.

Thank you for your help. On the evening that I posted my first message, I went home and had a chat with my other half, we decided that we were going to keep the wedding with Disney. Reasons being we had already chosen the package, booked the date, hotels etc etc and we were happy with it as it was, to change the venue and the date would have been quite a big task and we would have had to apply for the wedding date again - would have been stressful for me all over again. The other reason was as you said above - at the end of the day it's our wedding, hopefully it will only happen once and we want it to be as special as it can be, and also, it's Disney!!! What more do I need to say!!!
Thanks again!

got to agree with all the others here kate
hopefully it will be a once only time ,, lol ok for me it is a third time --my first time was to a kate -- , and ok it may be tight financially for a bot after the wedding but at least there will be no say if only we had got married inside disney,
i mean if you really want to save cash save it all and get married in a damp dismal registery office in the uk ........say no more i think
